Locked into HIVE more than I realized..

I am departing from my usual end of world rants only to promote HIVE blockchain. Of course I am singing to the choir as who else would be reading this? It's kind of counter-intuitive but I guess it's easier to focus on building rather than the world around me collapsing.

I guess it's fair to say I am a Hive veteran. Whether people on the blockchain know me as an asshole or a decent guy is irrelevant. I'm pretty well known in either case. I kind of fell into this without ever realizing it. I literally have thousands of 'dollars' locked into this blockchain with my Hive pretty much illiquid. Sure I bought some BNB, Litecoin, and recently Solana but it's babkas compared to the investments I have made into other tribes.

The fact is I have aped into many tribes. Some perhaps were poor judgement, some out of loyalty, and some out of yolo stupidity. In the end I regret nothing! The markets are what they are and the peeps I have met are figures I am used to talking with. Perhaps in years time the Tribe tokens I either have liquid or staked will be worth 'more' but in the end to me what does that really mean? I am kind of double locked in.

Sure I can put some sell orders for more HIVE, but it's still ' Hive '. As I re-write this blog from a computer crash I realize how committed I actually am. It's hard for me to focus these day's as so much is growing on the blockchain and the general crypto-sphere itself. I will admit there were many times I felt we were going nowhere and yet there I was still plopping down Hive coins worth cents into other second layer tokens. I'm confused as to what to build towards now. Increase my stake in tribes or start selling for Hive? I should be building my Hive but the cryptosphere is so vast and complicated it's getting more and more difficult by the day what to do.

I'm not excited by the rise in price for Hive itself. I really do miss the day's where I would write a post such as this one and be earning plenty more Hive to buy whatever I wanted with (within the second layer). Now with more attention from splinterlands and the price itself I am conflicted. I guess like many say, just continue to build. Hive is the closest we can stay to the wild west of crypto. I hope we can stay under the radar for just a bit longer.. I wouldn't mind being an orca. I guess that would require a few years more time of posting!
