Milestone: Celebrating a Month on the Blockchain

Hello Fellow HIVERS,

This week I'm celebrating one month using this platform. I was a bit reluctant to join at first but with some encouragement from @dmilliz,@missaj and @fruityfruitz I finally took the plunge.

Main Communities I've joined several communities but have only posted content in a few. My main groups so far are @ReggaeJahm, @Foodiesbeehive and @haveyoubeenhere.

Strategy
Since I'm new to the blockchain, I've been depending on the ReggaeJahm group for guidance and support as I'm just learning the ropes. My focus has been on producing content weekly to get some HP/HBD as well as earn a few tokens.

Evaluation: How should I evaluate my time on the blockchain so far?

  1. Am I adding value to the community? Am I learning useful skills for the future?
  2. Do I get some kind of satisfaction from my interaction with members of the community?
  3. Would I get greater value or benefit if my efforts were spent elsewhere?
  4. Am I benefitting more using this platform than I would using other blogging sites?
  5. Do I feel like I'm part of a community?

Generally I'm enjoying the process of learning something different. I have some reassurance in knowing that the moment I feel this is no longer working for me, I can move on to something else.However, for now I'm committed to contributing and learning more about the people and communities on the blockchain.
