  • Blockchain is essentially digital ledgers where transactions are verified by their own computer networks.

  • Computer that verifies the Transactions are Unanimous and the computers that verify the transactions gets Rewards in form of Tokens like Bitcoin, ETH etc.

  • Just like a banking system when the money is transferred from one person to another person and the bank is the one who verifies the transaction.

  • This essentially makes us all dependent on the Banking system as these banks can print money as much as they want without any backing Which was earlier backed up by Gold.

  • So due to this necessity Crypto Currency named bitcoin was introduced with blockchain technology.

As any new technology is introduced there is always a backlash like it was for the internet in the mid-'90s. Where most of the people were not so welcoming on this and it was said to fail. Now the biggest companies on this planet are internet-based companies.

  1. Apple: A patent was filed by Cupertino giant in which it was specified the way of verifying timestamps in three possible ways including one was using blockchain technology.

  2. Microsft: Microsoft Also signed a deal with one of Israel's banks to develop a digital platform based on blockchain technology. It will be used for financial contracts and easily sign up the guarantors which will cut the time significantly for the bank and the bank will use Microsoft's Azure platform for this.

  3. Facebook: David Marcus, one of the company’s top executives, the head of its Messenger platform and a former CEO of PayPal, said he’s leaving Messenger and “setting up a small group to explore how to best leverage blockchain across Facebook, starting from scratch.” Marcus is also a board member at cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase.

  4. Amazon: Amazon Web Services (AWS) "oversaw blockchain" administration presently upholds Ethereum out of the case, approximately two years after the reconciliation was first indicated in 2018.
