Trust is earned, respect is given and loyalty is demonstrated is the way of living in the LEO Finance community. And my journey here teach me these facts and that if you want to grow here you need to be true to yourself and the others. And to involve yourself within the community actions, to take initiative and to live by your words. And I am still trying to do this and at the moment I believe I have succeeded.

In the initial days on the community I didn't know too much and didn't take any action, but I kept my eyes opened and try to learn and read about the community core values and what is all about. As I am from business informatics I found this place aligned like a glove with my hobbies and passions - cryptocurrencies, stocks, finance and informatics on top of that. Well maybe there is still place on the informatics side on the platform, but nevertheless these are the main topics all around. Investment channels coming even from games (I am a supporter of blockchain games and I've tried or am still involved in many of them) are another angle that I love to write about. Thus, having my interest aligned with the one from the community would mean that I would post relevant content for it.

Another thing that helped me along the way was my involvement on commenting. Every day I was and still am looking through the new posts (I love this more than trending, popular, feeds and other alike) and where I would find a topic of interest I would leave a comment and an upvote. I am still at the phase where I am doing both of these things altogether as just living a comment seems to me just that I don't value the post enough to leave also a tip. But I need to change a little bit my mindset on this as sometimes comments just animate a post and bring new eyes on this, which could bring benefits from making that more attractive.

I am still voting 100% as my LEO Power value is still little - 0.35 LP I think - and I am doing the same for posts or comments. Probably if I advance and the vote is more valuable will use less percentage for that in order to curate more. I am getting my Vote Power down to 80% recharge, vote and repeat again. But I try to do my diligence each day and curate manually what I like around the site, starting with the new content.

Another thing I observed lately is that through all my activity and posts relevant to the community, I've gained some followers and some constant voters for my posts. And I try to keep them relevant and to post good content (even if my point of view) in order to keep the trust of those that are rewarding me. And this is one advice that I would give to anyone posting here (Make sure you read What Kind of Content Can I Post on LeoFinance?) to be truthful to himself and to the other community members. Once loyalty is earned you can develop yourself and grow from there. But you need to earn it as it is not given and you need to preserve it!

While this was described from my experience on LEO Finance I think it applies to any other community on HIVE. Keeping your content specific to that community and bringing information useful for its members should be the path for anyone to build up their account and grow from there. Communities are more concentrated organizations and this is quite important if you want to be successful.
