Rabona is a method of kicking the football whereby the kicking leg is wrapped around the back of the standing leg–effectively with one's legs crossed. This is a skilled action and so is the new Hive game that holds its name - Rabona.

I've got the chance to participate in the testing of Rabona so far and hopefully I brought some feedback to polish this game. It is a soccer management game tokenized using RBN tokens which for the moment are only used in game. The future is still to be unveilled if this will be NFTs, SMTs or some other shape of monetization for the addicted managers. Shareholders will be a revolutionary feature along the way and true investors could hold biggest clubs in the world, just imagine to be the boss of FC Barcelona.

But until then the Open Beta launch is around the corner on 25th of September and fierce football competitions will start at once. The schedule is like this:

  • 16:00 UTC: Full server reset for test participants
  • 17:00 UTC: Registration open
  • 18:00 UTC: Public announcement

From that point on everything will change and investments can be made in the game. Current features include for the managers to:

  • Manage the players from the team and choose the line ups for every match
  • Train the players for different scheme positions and skills
  • Trade players on the open market, sign up players that had their contracts canceled or others
  • Build Stadiums, Catering, Shops and Youth Academy to grow your team and increase the RBN income
  • Complete missions, get around the game features and receive RBN income
  • Rank up at the end of the season and receive HIVE rewards
