These are good points and for me, I remember the times when I joined Hive back in 2017. I found this ecosystem during a bull run and I remember some $20 upvotes on my posts and that thrill and excitement were enough to hook me up. Since the price fall and hard fork, things have been quite steady. And discovering communities later on simply sealed it.
