Second layer tokens achievements and investments on the HIVE blockchain
Hive is an open-source DPoS blockchain, forged in years of development to bring Web 3.0 to the world. With a diverse community of stakeholders and without controlling bad actors, individuals can experience true ownership in a decentralised blockchain & cryptocurrency. I have embarked on this through content creation as it is the perfect glove for bloggers and writers that can forge their own community or be part of an existing one and be rewarded more fairly for their work in comparison to more traditional blogging platforms. While I've started in 2017 on the STEEM blockchain and rebooted in 2020 with the HIVE blockchain hardfork, I have grown fond of it and find my place here along the crypto and financial enthusiasts and investors.
Now let's see what achievements I have reached lately. And the one that I am most proud off is that I have just stepped up and got the Dolphin status on the blockchain. This happened just on Hive PowerUp day when I boosted my staking with some more Hive tokens - Hive Power Up Day | I power up and breathe some life in the Hive blockchain.
This kind of achievements simply gives a boost of confidence and motivation to keep on going. For some reason I find it more fulfilling to be rewarded with crypto for my content creation rather than staking or other DeFi activities. I believe that the key for that is the engagement that we find here and the networking and people we get to meet and share our knowledge, ideas, beliefs or anything related to the community domain and not only. Simply because we can build great people around us, with positive attitude and that are working together with similar purpose in mind. A badge that I will wear with pride.
To make things better just few days ago Leo Finance community published a report with Top 30 content creators - The Best Way to Earn Crypto in 2021 | January Author Reward Leaderboard - and even if I didn't succeed to dedicate the time that I wanted to post more around it, I made within the top. A pleasant surprise that strengthens my beliefs that once you establish yourself within a community and you are real to what you are writing about, that will be recognized by the other members and rewarded the same.
Great times and great achievements these days. Now let's move to the next subject that I want to address and which refers to my investments into Hive second layer tokens. My initial threshold for considering an investment in any of the tokens was the $10 mark set last year, but in this bull run I don't know if that should be increased or not. Until I will make up my mind, I will just reveal the projects and their secondary layer tokens that I am involved at the moment and that I want to continue to do so. There is always space for improvement and expansion in the space, but nevertheless my focus is to increase my participation in the current ones.
LEO Finance related secondary layer tokens and investment funds (LEO, LEOM and LBI). These are some long term investments and I will not be selling any of them anytime soon. They are at the core of my participation within this community and considering that I am an active member here, my targets will be to continue growing and provide some influence in case government tokens will be released as well. While there is an thrilling roadmap laid ahead of us, I will keep my eyes on the ball and the target for me will be to achieve 10,000 LEO staked.
CTPTalk related secondary layer tokens and investment funds (CTP and CTPSB). These is my second project that I am active in and I want to get more involved here as well. While I had few websites in the past that I couldn't monetize well, I have some projects in mind that I want to start and I hope to get more knowledge from this community. Also here there will be great things revealed this year (an important one is the new UI), so I believe it is a great space to be in.
Palnet related secondary layer tokens (PAL). While I don't have a big balance on this as I have seen their price increase I will need to take a deeper look on that ecosystem. I know that the community is around 2017 and I was a member from that time, but I don't know their particularities at the moment to get involved more. Will do my research here and dive in later.
SplinterTalk related secondary layer tokens (SPT). While I don't held too much of the SPT tokens this is one of my favourite token as I am a daily player in the Splinterlands and I am with them since before the game came to market. I am still waiting for the moment when SPT tokens will be integrated within the game and when the price should be improved.
Beside the above community cryptocurrencies I am involved as well in some Hive blockchain games and I believe those will shine in the future as well. The ones that I am involved day by day are - Splinterlands (DEC), Rabona (RBN), DCity (SIM) and RisingStar (STARBITS). They have a huge potential if they can find the right financial system that can support them in time, but I think most of them managed to do so.
Beside this I am holding all my HIVE tokens and powering them up. I am simply a HODLer and will not be selling any HIVE anytime soon as I see this as a long term investment and there are thrilling items in the roadmap to keep me doing so (3Speak airdrop, Hive smart contracts etc.).
