While I haven't traded for a long time any cards in Splinterlands play2earn game on the Hive blockchain, I thought of revisiting the latest updates on the Internal Market and seeing what options are available. The game was enhanced with the possibility of renting cards, besides the existing option of selling cards. While it is not intended for bulk listings, I think the Internal Market brings the implied way to sell or rent your cards through a straightforward click. Having any newbie or newcomer to the Splinterlands ecosystem used to the sale and rental functionalities from here, this is a good easy start.

Here are the clear steps from the moment you entered the game until you get one of your NFT cards listed for sale or rental.

  1. Go to Items and pick the card you want to list on the market. In order to clear the noise you can simply filter your cards using the 'Owned' attribute and see only your cards.
  2. Once the chosen card is selected a new page will be opened. As you can have multiple cards of the same type, you need to select which one you intend to put on the market by selecting the corresponding checkbox.
  3. Push the 'List for Sale or Rent' button for the selected card.
  4. A new page is opened having in the header the question 'Do you wish to SELL or RENT your card?' and two tabs to select your choice: SELL CARD or RENT CARD.
  5. Choosing the SELL CARD tab will offer you the possibility to set the Sale Price while having also a suggested price based on the current trading market status. Once this is settled, simply push the SELL button which will have also a confirmation message that you should review and ensure the correct price is set: "Please confirm that you wish to list this card for sale at a price of $9,999.00."
  6. Choosing the RENT CARD tab will offer you the possibility to set the Rental Type (Daily - by default or Season - for the entire season) and also the Rental price (per day or season) while having also a suggested price based on the current rental market status. Once this is settled, simply push the RENT button which will have also a confirmation message that you should review and ensure the correct price is set: "Please confirm that you wish to list this card for rent at a rate of 999,999 DEC per day."

That's it, a straightforward way to sell or rent your cards on the Splinterlands internal market.
