Splinterlands governance token is Splintershards (SPS) and it is the driving force within this Hive blockchain-based game. The game founders' mission is to improve the SPS tokenomics and increase its value through different mechanics like SPS Validators, Rift Watchers Promo cards which return the value to SPS holders or SPS staking, and other DeFi pools built for it. There will be SPS burning and as time passes by even if there will be a 3B SPS supply it will shorten more and more. As we are yet at the beginning of SPS functionalities, now is a great time to accumulate more and more.

Today I had a big push to staking more and more SPS as I have claimed the tokens from all my accounts which totaled 1,160 tokens. As I still needed more than 1,000 SPS to pass over the psychological threshold of 50K tokens, I have decided to sell the vouchers that were airdropped to me on a daily basis. For 160 vouchers I could get on TribalDex market almost 2,700 SPS that I've staked as well. Pulling all these SPS gains from all sources I have succeeded in staking 51,968.813 SPS tokens. With a staking APR of 25.27% that translates also to 35.97 SPS per day.

My ultimate goal for the year is to reach 100,000 SPS staked and I am a bit over 50% from that. As of today, 18-April-2022 we are on the 266th day out of 365 days of airdrop, thus I will be getting airdrops for the remaining 99 days. It will be a hard push to get to my goal, but I think that if I pull all the possible revenue streams from the Splinterlands game and invest them in the SPS I might get there. I foresee it to be to the limit to reach that by the end of the year, but having a clear plan and goal will help me keep the focus on it.

A great milestone was reached at 50,000 SPS staked and it remains to continue staking like crazy to harvest more value from the ecosystem. I am not sure about you but I foresee a great future for SPS as the team does its best to provide more value for it. So with that in mind, it remains just to be persistent and keep on going, regardless of the market price. Are you doing the same or what's your take on SPS?
