The reputation on Hive blockchain is all we've got

Hive blockchain has at its base the Web 3.0 principles and aims to build a decentralized ecosystem for thriving communities that are providing blogging content, dapps and projects or tools that harvest the best out of cryptocurrencies. Once you join this vast universe and get onboard on different communities you start building up your reputation through the content created, comments and other activities around. And while you do that you will either be upvoted or downvoted based on your true intentions and facts on the platform(s). Thus the reputation that you make on HIVE blockchain is all the you've got in the end.

I see the reputation factor as a personal or business card for others to visit your content and appreciate you through upvoting it or not. Going for fast and easy money probably will make you do mistakes and that will degrade your reputation and be the downfall on the long run. You need to take your time and steadily grow your followers by providing original content and not be tempted to take shortcuts. I've fallen under the rush and hype of growing up too fast through different means when I was on Steemit and what it followed was enough for me to know that I've done things wrong and that ultimately stopped me from growing and building a true network around me.

Being original is the first things we should do on the HIVE blockchain and the communities around here. Beside that I think that exploring new things, trying new angles about the subjects we are interested of will help us distinguish from the others and build up a true organic network and followers base. Doing what everything does will get you only so much and will not stand up for long. Thus you need to have your mind trained to think differently, to be innovative and always try to bring something new in this ecosystem. Not only that you will open new roads around here, but you will be the first to do it and will be remember for it.

The mind of a content creator on HIVE blockchain will evolve in time and will be able to use the external information and interactions from the real life as subjects for new content that can be posted here. For example the inspiration for this post was a TV Series that I was watching - The Chair - where one of the actors that was caught in the middle of a conflict was brought in front of the chief of communication which was handling reputation management situation. That clicked in my mind as the REPUTATION is all that we've got and we should keep it like a clean sheet. That's how my brain is wired now as a content creator on Hive - get insight from real world and think how it can apply on blockchain and present that new way of seeing it.

You can track your reputation on the Hive blockchain using the Hive Buzz ranking tool which will compute that by different factors like posts, comments, replies, upvotes or other alike. While checking my ranking I must say that I noticed a well established Leo Finance content creator @taskmaster4450 if is standing on 7th place if you can imagine. At the moment I am finding myself (@behiver) ranking on 2719 place which I find it pretty good at the moment. And as I like challenges my goal would be to enter the TOP 2500 ranked users in the next period so let's see how long it takes for me to get there. But as I was writing above, I am not in a hurry and I will take things steady and keep true to my writings.
