I don't know why HBD is pumping but I love it

The price of HBD went absolutely crazy and I have no idea why. All I know is that last night my account value was less than $9k and this morning, I saw over $23k.

Naturally, there will be slippage and all that while selling, assuming I could of course, but even that will end up producing a much better value than sub $9k.

In any case, most of my HBD is actually in savings, as I have kept it there for a while to yield monthly dividends and is meant for our travel plans anyway.

Thanks to the recent HBD pump, I decided to pull out all my HBD from savings and hopefully catch a good price for the HBD in my savings. It will take 3.5 days and I seriously doubt the price of HBD will continue to be as high as it is right now.

In any case, when all the HBD is out of savings and liquid, I'll look at the HBD market price and decide my next course of action. As I see it, there's not so much to lose beyond the three days of savings dividend that would have been paid to me for the period where my HBD is in escrow before being released to me.

If it turns out that HBD price is back to $1, no harm done, because I'll just throw it all back to saving and move on with my life.

I got a decent price though

Most of my HBD was in savings but I had accumulated a decent chunk of HBD that I was saving for rent and all. I finally decided to pull it out and keep it in one spot, pending sales.

It so happens that all that HBD was just laying in wait since last night. It is pretty weird that I didn't sell it last night but fate was on my side.

I sold all the HBD for Hive, at an average price of somewhere between $1.8-$2 on the internal market. In some way, we could say I was playing my part in establishing the price of HBD like the hero that I am.

Anyway, I sent the Hive I needed for sorting out my life requirements to Binance and then kept back the remaining.

Perfect timing

Yesterday, I talked about why I will continue buying SPS and LVL on hive network. FOr SPS in particular, I aimed to reach a preset goal of at least 20K SPS token staked because I have a really good feeling about the asset.

Thanks to this unprecedented situation with HBD, I was able to achieve that goal and I must say, I feel very elite. It is a target that I knew I'd reach but I never thought I'd be able to achieve before the end of the airdrop.

Now that I've reached what I consider a very awesome milestone, I will now slow down my purchase of SPS token and just continue restaking the SPS reward that I receive for staking in the first place.

I will now shift my focus to Leo tokens and try to achieve 20K Leo Power as well. At the time of writing, I curate with around 15k Leo power, of which around 9k Leo belongs to me and 6k is delegated to me.

My next target will be to dollar cost average into Leo tokens until I reach the 20K milestone. This is obviously because I have a good feeling about Leo token as well and I think the project is going to be huge in the long run.

Other than Leo, I will also continue buying small amounts of LVL token and increase the total value of my collection. It will be a slow burner approach but one that I think will reap dividends in the future.

All thanks to HBD

So, once again, big thanks to the people that pumped HBD in the background. I don't know what happened and I haven't actually calmed down enough to figure out if I should be worried because of this glitch but I must say, it really helped me.

I took some value out of Hive to handle things in my life but I also reinvested part of the value into projects on Hive that boost the reputation of the blockchain. What about you, were you able to cash in on the HBD pump? Did you have liquid or are you pulling out of your savings?
