The price of Leo has been on my kind for a while, but I've been dithering over buying more tokens. Honestly, the main reason I can think about is that I kind of thought the price would go down a little more but it never did.

Currently, Leo trades around 20 cents and so does POB. Again, I know what Leofinance is all about but I'm still not sure what POB is about but there seems to be a lot of interest in the project, so I'm pseudo-FOMOing.

Adding more Leo and POB to my stake

At these shit prices, it's only right that I add more Leo and POB to my collection.

That's the reason why I decided to power up 1.033k Leo yesterday. Out of the lot, about 65% was bought from the market and the rest was from post rewards.

Interestingly, that cost me about $100 to buy. So right now, I'm curating with about 7500 Leo power and heading closer to my target.

My ranking on the rich list also took a major boost, as I moved some clicks up the ranking. However, I'm still somewhat far away from my target if entering the first page, which, at this moment will require pretty much doubling my current collection.

Still, on the topic of rich list, I also made strides in my quest to climb up the rich list in POB. Unlike Leo, POB tokens are scarce, so buying up hundreds of the tokens isn't quite as easy.

Is still managed to add 200 tokens to my collection, thereby taking my stake up to roughly 1100 POB Power.

With that POB stake, I'm also much higher in the rich list ranking and also getting closer to the first page.

I know it's just in my head and the list doesn't mean much in the general scheme of things but it makes me feel better about myself.

SPS feels healthy

Yesterday I decided to stake all the SPS tokens at my disposal and boost my portfolio to 3800 SPS tokens staked.

Few hours after that move stake 800 of my tokens, SPS token value jumped to the $0.35 range, a true story. So, yes, I pumped the token, you're welcome.

The best part about the value if SPS tokens are that it genuinely looks healthy and feels sustainable.

Well yeah, this is crypto and things can go to shit in the blink of an eye but it just doesn't feel that way with SPS.

I'm not saying the token is about to moon to $10, even though I'd be totally down for that(shut up @lordbutterfly). I'm just saying that it just seems like this range of value (0.27-0.35) is sustainable and something you could actually use to project your earnings till at least 80% of the airdrop is completed.

It's not just a gut feeling, by the way, it is based on my perception of the market.

What about the dip?

The dip only affected Splinterlands cards in the market but I'm so far in the green zone, I'm not even bothered.

With that said, with the value of SPS and DEC looking so healthy, it's only a matter of time before that will be reflected in card prices and then your NFT value in your deck starts spiking again.

The numbers don't lie

Also, when you check the numbers, you'll find that Splinterlands is in the business of breaking records right now.

If we're going by the number of daily transactions, Splinterlands is top of the pile. The game surpasses literally every single blockchain application in the world and it runs on Hive.

So while this is an awesome move for Splinterlands, it also shows how advanced the technology on Hive is. We're home to the most active application in the crypto space and while we can't rest on our laurels, it's a testament to the growth the community is experiencing.

Also, when you consider that Splinterlands hasn't even peaked yet, with the expansion of the game to include land and a lot more developments coming through, it's rather amazing to note how much value this game could bring to the community.

Every time I see conversations and tweets about the number of daily transactions, I think about what @taskmaster4450 mentioned some months ago about the benefits of the network effect.

If we have applications like Splinterlands, Leofinance, and all the others producing such a high number of daily transactions, it'll be impossible to ignore hive.
