Virtually all my Splinterlands assets are currently in the market. It is a difficult decision that I've had to make but it is for the best.

I originally wanted to sell all my assets but I decided to hold on to a small selection of monsters that I believe have immense potential for the future. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the monsters I've sold already have great potential and I'd rather not sell them but immediately I had decent value in the market, I started picking potential.

Out of the lot, I chose to hold on to pretty much all my gold foils and three legendary normal foils that I'm fairly certain will have three digit futures. I couldn't accept the thought of selling these assets at their current market price.

Gold Foil Runemancer Florre

Having a gold foil legendary monster is an incredible feat that only a hand ful of Splinterlands players ever get to experience. I can't explain the rush of blood to the head that comes from experiencing the shakes and then finally hearing that piercing sound that comes from a gold foil.

Now, if you're new to the game, you could make the deadly error of burning your gold foil legendary for the measley DEC you get from it. This is an error I made the very first time I got a gold foil legendary but I'm wiser now.

Considering how much of a rarity it is to get a gold foil legendary, it'll be absolutely ridiculous of me to make the error of selling when the market is down. I mean, one legendary gold foil for $80?

Based on their collection power and their relatively higher number in circulation, the newer gold foils tend to be priced much lower than the previous collection. However, their current price is far from being a fair reflection of their value.

Considering how powerful and rare the Runmancer Florre is, this gold foil should be trading around $200 at least. Honestly, I think it could be more but I'm trying to to be modest about my speculation.

Gold foil Riv Hellondale

For whatever reason best known to Splinterlands players, Hellondale is valued at around $35. That is an astonishingly low price for a gold foil legendary.

I understand that it is from the chaos legion collection and their numbers tend to be overwhelming but it is still legendary. At the time of writing, there's only 16 in the market, according to Splinterlands marketplace, so why so cheap?

I understand that it is not an "impressive monster" but it still has its perks. A magic user with resurrect and melee boost has to have better value.

There's no way I'll be selling this particular monster at this current price. At some point, I believe the value will run up but even if it doesn't, I'll be fine with it just sitting in my collection.

Gold foil Cosair Bosun

Cosair is not an impressive monster, it is just another high mana and hard-hitting melee monster to have in your collection. In terms of rarity, it is also quite common due to being a common monster but I still think it is undervalued.

There are 54 copies of gold foil Cosair on the market and it is valued at around $3.54 a copy. Now, compared to something like Goblin Mech that is twice the price, I think Cosair still has some pumping to do.

These are just three of the monsters that I will not be selling from my collection. According to Peakmonsters, I have roughly $517 worth of monsters that are not up for sale and I believe that in the long run, these assets will probably be worth more than price of my entire deck.
