This is the entry post for "Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge! Haunted Spider". You can participate even if you don't have theme card.
In this battle I have to face with Lorna Shine. She is two level higher than me. I am at Rare lvl 4 but my opponent has Rare lvl 6 and Common lvl 8 monsters.

Battle Details:
I chose this battle because I tactically won this battle. For second reason I want to give an information Poison is the best counter for Divine Shield because Divine Shield can only block ranged attack damage but can not block the effect of Poison.
There are only two monsters can has Poison ability at low level. One monster is (I think you already know) Haunted Spider and Another one is Serpent of the Flame. It is an epic card and it has Poison ability. I often use this cards whenever I need to play with fire splinter. I chose it over Serpentine Soldier. The same thing applied to Haunted Spider. Whenever I want Poison effect or there is a low mana match I prioritize Haunted Spider in my team.
Line-up: I put Haunted Spirit in first postion because it is a tank. I put Spineback Wolf in the second position and I put Haunted Spider in third position. Spineback Wolf has both Reach and Thorns ability so it can defend attacks from the back. I chose Haunted Spider to get Poison effect. I want to slowly kill the enemy's monsters because my Haunted Spirit has healing ability so I will win if the battle drag on.
My strategy worked and I won the battle. Another option is to choose Skeleton Assassion but it doesn't have poison ability at Lvl 5.
I like it because of Poison ability. Poison can still effect even if my monster is killed. If he did not choose Creeping Ooze, My Haunted Spider will his healer within 3 rounds.
