My hive testimony : From zero dollar a day to two dollars a day.(My story)
I don't know why I have been so lazy as regards writing my testimony on hive. I can say i am someone who has benefitted from hive and i think my story can inspire one or two people.
So shall we?
It all started when i woke up one day as usual broke and angry about life. My roommate @ebingo told me how @belemo had made a hundred dollar from a single post. I was so furious and angry with my self. I asked my self how was i not making anything? Why was i not writing on hive?
Not long after this, @ebingo was also making money too from the same hive. It will interest you that I introduced @belemo to the blockchain along side 2 of his siblings.
I picked myself up, dropped every form of pride and reached out to @belemo who happens to be my mentor on this great platform. I asked him humbly to show me the way.
He gave me tasks every two weeks and I returned to him when I was through with the task. And that is how I started earning small cents.
To be honest, I came with the aim of earning on hive at first but something happened. I fell in love with the platform and got into an entanglement with the blockchain. I started making relationships on the network and this relationships have made me some extra bucks and Knowledge.
Prior to this time, I used to hate reading however since I got on hive, I had to build this habit of reading so I could engage more. I have been reading a lot of things and this has helped in increasing ny knowledge of things.
I wrote a tweet saying how I see hive as my learning centre.
I have acquired some form of financial literacy by engaging with users like @chekohler and @majes.tytyty.
I have also learnt life lessons here on hive. Hive has taught me the benefits of creating relationships.
I have learnt a lot of things that I didn't learn in the classroom.
Hive has taught me how to be consistent with what I do. I can say for a fact that I have not gone a full day without visiting this blockchain. This is the most consistent I have been all my life.
Hive has made me want to do better at what I am doing currently. I remember back then in 2017 when I joined the blockchain, my writings were terrible. All I was concerned about was getting money. However , hive has taught me the benefits of delayed gratification. I learnt how to format my post and also learnt how to engage with people better.
Hive has given me a way to invest as most of my thoughts are on how to increase ny hive power and build my dcity. I am almost out of the redfish zone already.
In terms of finances, I can say I have made a lot from hive. In my first month I made a total of 38 dollars and in my second month, i made 66 dollars. That is hundred percent of the first month. I invested some in dcity. If I am to calculate how much I have gotten from hive only , it will amount to approximately about 150 dollars. This figure is from zero dollar to $150. This is the most decent I have seen for using a social network.

Hive is better than Facebook , Twitter and any other social network you can think of.
It pays to hive. Join hive and get rewarded for doing what you enjoy.
A note to newbies.
I can't end this post without giving advice the new ones on this platform. It is not so easy to make it on hive but with little consistency you will do well.
The first thing you have to know is that hive is like any other social network you know with an added advantage of rewarding every user. This therefore means you must try to get people to be interested in you. This goes to say that you have to build your follower base .
Building your follower base would require engagement in any social network, so try to engage by making useful comments, participate in communities and try to build your account.
Get on Twitter and also engage with other hivers. Get discord and be active in communities of your interest.
With this little advice, your testimony will definitely be better than mine. Be humble and ask for orientation if you are lost.
