If you use Android, LeoFinance Mobile app is up to date on the play store. If you use iPhone the latest version is still on wait to be approved.
When you download and start the app you get the screen with login options.

If you don't have a Hive account and want to make one, using twitter sign in / sign up is really easy. At the moment because of how LeoFinance is making Hive Accounts it is recommended to create account through browser/leofinance site. At the moment you can't claim keys for the Hive Account on the mobile app. That will be fixed soon.
After clicking on Twitter you will be asked to connect your Twitter account. Next page will give you an option to pick your Hive Account Username / wallet.
And that is it, you have an account and can use an app.
At the moment LeoFinance Mobile app is pretty simple. The are no options for any coin transactions. Reading posts, commenting and voting is easy. posts look good in the app. So initial idea that Khal had with the app is working fine.
From the looks of the app the code is based on Dapplr that was really nice and had a lot more transaction options. The problem is probably with integrating the second layer token and options. Maybe we will get it soon ๐
One thing i would like added is a page that shows my comments and replies. Or maybe there is one but i did not find it.
Writing a post is not as bad as i thought it will be. And that is coming from someone who does not use a phone to write a lot.
Adding images is easy, preview looks good. Formatting is a bit fiddly so you will most probably not make the most beautiful posts.
App saves your posts as drafts. First i thought it works great, than i lost part of the post while moving to make the screenshot posted above. I am not sure is the draft saving done every X amount of time or maybe by clicking the back arrow.
Overall i will still prefer writing posts on my PC, but if you are on the move, it is possible to do it through the phone and it is not that bad.
- If you want to login with your existing Hive account you can do it with Hivesigner.
I have a love and hate relationship with hivesigner. When it works for me it works but sometimes i just run in circles.
To use the app you need to import Active key to HiveSigner, because you need to give posting authorities to the LeoFinance Mobile App.
