After driving for 10 hours today on a road trip I for one can't wait for a truly automated system. Although I'll for sure struggle with the not having control factor the speed of which travel will be possible and the more relaxing environment should outweigh this.

As much as Elon has ticked me off lately they for sure are innovative and making things happen. Normally when a company is at the forefront the spend a ton of money into initial development while other companies swoop in on the back end and do more for cheaper as the grunt work has already been completed. So far however Tesla along with other companies such as Space X are instead housing massive data and it's actually producing MORE instead of really hurting the company. That along with thousands of fans funneling in money should continue to see it as one of the pivotal changes for transportation in the next 5-10 years.
