Great news coming out from Steempeak today where they have just implemented PeakLock, its a new way of authenticating your accounts which using Steempeak.

Do try it out as its so much more easier to login if you are not familiar with using KeyChain.

Also there seem be people talking about using web extention web3 wallets where they have reported that they have been loosing their ETH which is on their MetaMask. I do suggest that you change one crucial setting which hopefully help minimize this risk.

  • right click metamask and click manage extention
  • at the option that states "Allow this extension to read and change all your data on website you visit" select on click . by default its "On all sites"

There is no confirmation if this would help, however it does secure your wallets a little bit more.. I'm not 100% technical to elaborate this and I do welcome others to input your thoughts.
