πππ Trivia & Gartic with PIZZA π€πβπ΅βπ«π€― - Magic The Gathering woke up 2 Sleeping Beauties!
We're well into the new week and here's my slightly delayed, "Better Late Than Never" weekend Trivia/Gartic Event recap π. As always, this is probably our most popular event weekly and I strongly encourage anyone who just wants to have fun to pop by into our PIZZA DISCORD. ππ
For people who might be stumbling onto this for the first time, our events are a great time to generally have fun bonding over community activities with plenty of Pizza Tokens being given out to all participants too! ππππ€π€π€

As always, our trusty and reliable @huzzah the Herald sounds the call π―π and opens the doors to the Events channel.
@jfuji @sundr0wn in a conspiracy with Huzzah. Sneakily having entered the Events section before it officially opened. Tsk. π
As Trivia started though, it occurred to me that we were missing 2 regulars!!! Where's @ravenmus1c and @wittyzell ? (Especially Wittyzell who fell asleep for the first part of Trivia/Gartic in the previous week π)
A question about one of the Commons in Magic The Gathering (which I shamefully got wrong despite having had SO MANY of these cards pass through my hands in the multitudes of booster packs opened), lead to all the hidden MTG fans appearing.

And would you know it? Raven appeared!!! She also has a large collection of MTG cards from yesteryear.
And like MAGIC, Wittyzell appears soon after too, when we're discussing the prices of the Alpha MTG cards like Black Lotus (the most famous one of all).
Looks like the magic of MAGIC broke the Sleep spell cast on both these sleeping beauties π.
First time I've heard of The Black Cauldron here too. And as you can see @cryptoniusrex π, there's absolutely nothing wrong with me! Quite a few of us here have NEVER watched it before! Although, I'm really surprised that this cartoon remains totally unknown to me.
Will earmark The Black Cauldron for watching soon.
Surprisingly, we didn't have a single 100% correct/wrong or Solo correct/wrong answer for the entire night! π± This was possibly a first for me.
A short intermission before Gartic was up next. I've always said Jfuji has lightning fast fingers for Gartic, and it seemed I was not alone in my sentiments π€£. @hoosie @fefe99 can attest to it too!
Fortunately, Gartic isn't a competition amongst ourselves but a team effort instead. So we'll allow you to hard carry us Jfuji π.

On to the next event PIZZA Community Game Night. And the community game for today is... drumroll π₯π₯π₯... GARTIC!
First question of the night for Gartic, how bad could it be? πππ A first round knockout? π€―π±π€£
Well, that was just warmup jitters... right? π Surely the 2nd round would be better!
And it was indeed better... by a grand total of... ONE π€£!
And knocked out we were again. π
This must be one of our most terrible starts in Gartic history, if not the most.
Fortunately, the final attempt turned out to be a success. We ended up breaking our existing record by quite a fair margin. From level 70 to 78! π₯³π₯³π₯³
