Was ein Auftakt ins neue Jahr
Es gibt zum Jahresbeginn gleich gute Neuigkeiten! Ich hatte mich im Dezember noch kurzfristig um die Teilnahme an einem neuen Programm der Frankfurt School of Finance bemüht: Bitcoin Talents.
Dazu musste man sich richtig mit CV und Anschreiben bewerben. Das Ganze hatte ich auf Twitter gesehen, weil ich dort Professor Sandner folge, der das Blockchain Center an der Frankfurter Hochschule leitet. Die haben den Kurs jetzt zum ersten Mal aufgelegt. Und, was soll ich sagen, ich bin einer der rund 100 Teilnehmer, nächsten Dienstag geht es los! Freue mich riesig!
Um was geht es dabei?
Das Programm richtet sich an unterschiedliche an Bitcoin interessierte Menschen: Unternehmensgründer, Investoren, Juristen aber eben auch Multiplikatoren wie mich, die sich für die Blockchain Technologie interessieren, vertieft und strukturiert eintauchen wollen um das Thema nach draußen zu tragen.
Hier die geplanten Module bzw. Inhalte:
Ihr seht, da steckt ne Menge drin und es geht ganz vorn los. Für nächste Woche sollen wir uns schonmal in das Whitepaper von Satoshi Nakamoto einlesen.
Mein persönliches Warum
Für mich bietet Bitcoin Talents eine super Gelegenheit mich tiefer in das Thema einzuarbeiten (bisschen Vorwissen hab ich ja schon 😉) und vor allen Dingen weitere Kontakte zu knüpfen.
Habe geplant immer mal zwischendurch auch im Podcast darüber zu berichten. Zudem denke ich sind bestimmt auch etliche Anknüpfungspunkte Richtung Hive dabei. ZB. das BTC Lightning Netzwerk, dass durch @brianoflondon und die V4V Thematik immer mehr mit Hive vernetzt wird.
Was meint ihr dazu, was würde euch am meisten interessieren? Hat sich jemand von euch zufällig auch beworben und ist dabei?

What a start to the new year
Good news at the beginning of the year! In December, I applied at short notice to participate in a new programme of the Frankfurt School of Finance: Bitcoin Talents.
For this, you had to apply properly with a CV and cover letter. I saw the whole thing on Twitter because I am following Professor Sandner there, who heads the Blockchain Center at Frankfurt University. They have now launched the course for the first time. And, what can I say, I'm one of the 100 or so participants, and it all starts next Tuesday! I'm really looking forward to it!
What is it about?
The programme is aimed at different people interested in Bitcoin: Company founders, investors, lawyers, but also multipliers like me, who are interested in blockchain technology and want to dive in deeper and in a structured way to bring the topic to the outside world.

As you can see, there's a lot in it and it starts from the very beginning. For next week we are supposed to read Satoshi Nakamoto's whitepaper.
My personal why
For me, Bitcoin Talents offers a great opportunity to delve deeper into the topic (I already have a bit of prior knowledge 😉 ) and, above all, to make more contacts.
I have planned to report on it every now and then in the Podcast. In addition, I think there will certainly be quite a few points of contact in the direction of Hive. For example, the BTC Lightning network, which is becoming increasingly linked to Hive through @brianoflondon and the V4V topic.
