Herausragendes Interview zu Bitcoin [GER/ENG]

Provokativer Titel

Den YouTube Kanal von Mario Lochner verfolge ich sporadisch aber durchaus regelmäßig. Er macht normalerweise viel zum Thema Aktien und Börse, ein Schwerpunkt auch von meinem Podcast. Diese Woche kam aber ein Interview raus, was mich gleich zweimal überrascht hat: Erstens wegen des etwas provokanten Titels, die Bitcoin Anlage sei sicherer als ETF Sparpläne, und zum Zweiten wegen der Länge. Fast zwei Stunden geht das Ganze. Aber ich kann euch sagen es lohnt sich!

Überzeugender Inhalt

Roman Reher, auch bekannt als Blocktrainer und sehr renommierter Experte im deutschsprachigen Raum, liefert echt einen ab. Er beantwortet unaufgeregt und echt versiert die vielen Fragen der beiden Moderatoren. Dabei geht es um die unterschiedlichsten Aspekte wie zB.:

• Mining und Proof-of-Work
• den hohen Energieverbrauch dafür
• Sound Money Geldtheorie
• Goldstandard und warum er gescheitert ist
• warum schrittweise Adaption über viele Jahre gut ist
• die damit zusammenhängende hohe Volatilität
• Folgen eines möglichen Bitcoin-Geld-Standards
• und nicht zuletzt um die Frage nach der Identität von Satoshi

Gelungener Brückenschlag

Ihr seht da steht einiges drin. Für mich ein wirklich sehr gutes Gespräch, mit durchaus berechtigten kritischen Fragen aber einem konstruktiven Austausch über die Thematik Bitcoin und Blockchain. Dabei gelingt es Roman Reher die Brücke zwischen den teilweise ja sehr eigensinnigen Bitcoinern zum Mainstream, zu Mainstream Anlegern zu schlagen, anhand von Beispielen die komplexe Materie verständlich zu machen und sogar die oft kritisierten Bitcoin Maxis einzubinden, nicht per se zu verteufeln aber sich durchaus davon abzugrenzen. Respekt.

Dunkler Fleck

Einzig die dunkle Kammer in der das Interview aufgezeichnet wurde ist grade zu Beginn etwas seltsam, man will ja das Thema grad nicht mit dunklen Hinterzimmern in Verbindung bringen, oder? 😜

Die vielen positiven Kommentare belegen für mich nochmal die Qualität der Episode. Es war auch schon von einem möglichen zweiten Teil die Rede, da trotz der üppigen Dauer nicht alle Themen angeschnitten werden konnten. Mal schauen was da noch kommt.

Provocative title

I follow Mario Lochner's YouTube channel sporadically but quite regularly. He usually does a lot on the subject of shares and the stock market, which is also a focus of my podcast. This week, however, an interview came out that surprised me twice: Firstly, because of the somewhat provocative title, Bitcoin investment is safer than ETF savings plans, and secondly because of the length. The whole thing goes on for almost two hours. But I can tell you it's worth it!

Convincing content

Roman Reher, also known as Blocktrainer and a very renowned expert in the German-speaking world, really delivers. He answers the many questions of the two moderators in an unagitated and genuinely well-versed manner. He deals with the most diverse aspects such as:

• Mining and proof-of-work
• the high energy consumption for it
• Sound money theory
• the gold standard and why it failed
• why gradual adaptation over many years is good
• the high volatility associated with it
• consequences of a possible Bitcoin money standard
• and last but not least the question of Satoshi's identity

Successful bridge-building

You can see there's a lot in there. For me, it's a really very good conversation, with legitimate critical questions but a constructive exchange on the topic of Bitcoin and Blockchain. Roman Reher succeeds in building a bridge between the sometimes very stubborn Bitcoiners and mainstream investors, using examples to make the complex subject matter understandable and even integrating the often criticised Bitcoin Maxis, not demonising them per se but definitely distancing himself from them. Respect.

One Dark Spot

Only the dark room in which the interview was recorded is a bit strange at the beginning, you don't want to associate the topic with dark backrooms, do you? 😜

For me, the many positive comments once again prove the quality of the episode. There has already been talk of a possible second part, because despite the length of the episode, not all topics could be covered. Let's see what else is to come.
