I wonder how long I would have went before I finally remembered that back in 2016 I was visiting the Columbus Zoo and I took this picture of the lions lounging around on a abnormally warm October day. I am a little ashamed that this is the first time I am using this image for a LEO post.

These past four days have been nuts to say the least. It has been a whirlwind of activity on the crypto front for me and I am still just trying to catch my breath. On Friday I wrote this post about my frantic quest to get some liquid crypto together to get some VIBES Miners.

Fun fact I think the VIBES airdop happened and I was able to stake the ~450 tokens I got from that. I am sure there are those out there who are just going to dump the tokens. It's not my place to judge, but I hope that isn't the case for the majority. I'd really like to see this community do well. It seems like a really cool group of people from all walks of life.

Last night I tried to take part in the latest Kogs pack sale, but my computer was screwing up, so while I was able to pick up 8 packs of Kogs, I wasn't able to open any of them to try and get some coveted first mints. I am pretty bummed about that.

I am still waiting for my BTC and ETH that I transferred to my Bittrex account nearly two weeks ago to show up. I have contacted support about that, but haven't gotten much info from them. I have a feeling the BTC transaction is going to time out and the BTC will end up back in my wallet. The ETH transaction I am not sure about, it says it went through okay, but the funds are not in my Bittrex wallet.

Today I was planning on participating in HPUD day. I was thinking that I had another powerdown happening on my old STEEM account and I would use those funds to participate in HPUD. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

Plus this weekend there were some really exciting Tweets about the new project that LEO has in the works. That caused me to move the majority of my Hive into liquid LEO.

Still wanting to particpate at some level, I moved some of my liquid Sports over to my main account from my curation account and sold that. This left me with a whopping 15 Hive that I was able to power up for HPUD.

I am actually pretty disappointed in that number, but the fact that I powered up 600 or so to put me at 25k HP last month kind of makes up for it.

What has me really scared is the speed at which things are happening. We kind of got used to the slow humdrum day to day style that we were dealing with from 2018 to 2020. Now that things are starting to pick up we are being hit from all sides with new stuff.

I think in the past four days alone we have seen three or four new tribes pop up. Leo has been setting us up for a barrage of announcements that I have a feeling are going to come in rapid succession.

It seems like every week there is at least five new NFT projects that are coming out.

The fact is, we are getting to a point where we are going to have to pick and choose which projects we participate in and which ones we let pass us by.

That is a hard pill to swallow when so many projects have the potential to blow up into something huge. FOMO is starting to take on a whole new meaning for those of us who are long time crypto holders.

Like it or not, this is the future, buckle in, use your best judgement, and best of luck to us all! Oh happy HPUD by the way!
