If you don't have any liquid Leo then you have to unstake. I wouldn't do that right now though because of the airdrop that is happening soon. Instead your better bet is to maybe convert some of your Hive rewards to Leo. Then yes, you just have to send it over to lbi-token. It is pretty easy. Within about 24 hours they will send the lbi back to you and it shows up in your wallet.
