There are quite a few comparisons people tend to draw in the crypto space that just leave me laughing or scratching my head. The one you mentioned here is definitely one of them. It's interesting how people want BTC to be so much more than it is. I think a lot of it has to do with the maximalist mentality that you mentioned.
