That last part about having an AMA Is a great idea. Though I have a feeling most people don't really care about any of my anything! :) I have always told people who are just starting out to try and write a comment that asks a question. That way you can engage a bit more with the OP and maybe start one of those conversations that will turn into a long time connection.
