As I sit in my recliner it is 8:26 PM as I start to write.

Negativity. There is so much off it everyday. I live in πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦. Inflation rate at a 31 year high. Fuel prices at an all time high.

Mass shootings in the USA πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ. War in the Ukraine πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦. Covid19.

The list goes on and on.

How do I stay positive. A few ways.

I force myself, I practice. Every single second of the day.

I would be telling a lie if I said negative thoughts were totally gone.

I focus on the positive.

I get up at 5:45 in the morning and slide into my positivity suit. I put on the kettle for a morning cup of coffee. I open my laptop and head strait to ListNerds. I send out an email for my previous days video. Then I start reading emails.

I start getting inspired by the content creators on Hive. The success and positivity they put forward. It is contagious.

Problems arise. Like too many emails. What a fracking awesome complaint. I will turn that into a positive and find way to get them done.

I then write a blog post.

Leave the house and head for work, stopping to do my video blog post.

I start work at 7:30 am.

I tighten my positivity suit as soon as I walk in the door. I am a service advisor at a car dealership. Deal with the public all day long.

Number one question all day long to me. How are you today? My answer is never: good, alright, not bad. It use to be. Now it is Fantastic. It sets the tone for a positive engagement. And it works.

I leave work at 5 pm and head home. I have supper with my wife. Usually do chores upto no later than 8Pm.

Then I sit down and engage with every single comment I have gotten on Hive since my two morning posts.

Through it all I put forward positivity.

It has become second nature.

It has changed my life. Professionally, personally, and on Hive and ListNerds.

I love feedback from people when they tell me it is contagious. That I brighten their day. That I add positivity to their day.

I Challenge you to force yourself to be positive all the time with others. When engaging with others online and in person.

Not to preach but ask anyone on Hive that new me before 2022. Before I became Mr. Positive.

It works. It pays dividends.
