Bitcoin reached break $40,000 on January 7, 2021 after rising to 20,000 US dollars by the end of 2020, financial advisor and expert trader predicted bitcoin could reach higher prices in the long run. The soaring price of bitcoin is driven by the number of investors who make crypto as promising investment and people who are interested in learning about crypto assets.

So what platforms are safe and legal in Indonesia? Chairman of the Indonesian Blockchain Association announce that currently in Indonesia there are many companies that provide a safe and licensed bitcoin trading platform or other crypto asset. Companies that listed in BAPPEBTI as official crypto asset traders and secure exchange. There are Luno, Rekeningku.com, Indodax, Bitocto, Zipmex, Pintu, Upbit, and Digital Exchange Indonesia.

Bitcoin has been recognized by the Indonesian Futures Exchange Supervisory Board after BAPPEBTI issued Regulation of commodity futures trading supervisory agency No. 5 of 2019 on Technical Implementation of Crypto Asset Commodity Market.

"Under these rules, bitcoin is designated as one of the digital asset commodities that can be traded on futures exchanges"

Bitcoin last Bullish into All Time High three years ago at $20,000 and passed a long correction. During this correction period many countries issued regulations on crypto assets and some companies began to innovate using bitcoin, followed by bitcoin halving that occurred in May 2020.

In my personal perspective Bitcoin is in a period of correction, I think expert traders and investors are not panic with this situation because they consider this to be common in the world of cryptocurrencies. Knowing the limited bitcoin supply only 21K Bitcoins, and now it has reached 18.2 million bitcoins circulation then it can be concluded that the price of Bitcoin will continue to increase every year and break another All Time High records.
