Wild February

Hi Friends,

Stocks were nearly flat in January to start 2021, but February was looking promising, until this week:

We erased most of the February strong returns in the last few trading sessions of the month to end slightly higher by around 2% on the S&P 500 index. The charts point to a possible further decline, but good news on Covid numbers, reopenings and stimulus may reverse the current downtrend enough to fix the charts - the trading in the first week of March will really set the tone.

With the strong returns in 2020 despite the pandemic, it is likely that the good news will win out in 2021 on a high level. We shall see.

What is your outlook on the capital markets for 2021?
