Podping now on dapp.com

Podping is now live on dapp.com and it has immediately risen to near the top of its category. And I'll tell you a little secret, I could easily inflate the transaction count but I'm not doing that because it would put unnecessary strain on Hive.

Right now we only have two major podcast hosts (RSS.com and Buzzsprout) feeding live updates of all shows they host into Hive via podping.cloud.

PodcastIndex (who sit at the center of this work for now) are already using the alerts they get from Podping to instantly poll and update any show that appears in a ping. This cuts down on speculative polling so as a result there is far less demands on both PodcastIndex's servers and the servers of Buzzsprout and RSS.com. A genuine win win for all and Hive was built for this sort of thing!
