Bro Newspaper | Issue 21

Good Sunday afternoon everyone on the Hive Blockchain. The market has come down once again, and so has Hive, but ... Hive is actually holding up quite well! And regardless of that, we are happy to bring you another new Bro Newspaper. Like every week, a few things have happened. Although it is a bit difficult to get the information BEFORE it happened ... So we only have to look in the Tribes to see what happened, and that also turns out to be more than enough to make a full newspaper to fill. And it still makes it easy for you as readers, you don't have to check all tribes yourself for the latest updates. You just have to read the Bro Newspaper, and then you will be informed about the main events of the Hive tribes that you have invested in as a BRO.

HIVE-PIZZA



I was browsing through Hive blogs this week when my eye fell on a post written by @thebeardflex. Yeah, who else? That guy is really busy, and loves community engagement. And that engagement is the thing that will be rewarded. In this blog he is again showing that he really loves engagement, and the best thing that comes with this is that he is giving YOU all the chance to get rewarded for your engagement. How? The next tribe we're going to talk about is;

LEOFINANCE



This week @leofinance frontman, @khaleelkazi has been very busy bringing interesting updates about Leofinance's plans. If you've been following his blog this week, you've seen the preparation for the upcoming bear market through Liquidity Pools. Interesting, and good to learn from maybe. But of course everyone was much more curious about the Roadmap. Now that we are slowly moving towards the end of December, it is also interesting to see where we stand again. But especially to see what the plans are for the future! I would say, go watch the videos and draw your conclusions! The plans sound good and could give LEO / CUB a new boost. Time will tell.

From the financial things on our Hive blockchain it's time to check out some fun things. So let's see if there's anything to tell about;

BLOCKHEAD GAMES



The latest update tells us that the Punks market is now charges at a speed equivalent to a lightning bolt. Well, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration... but the improvements @themarkymark and @asgarth have made mean that the market can load about 10x faster. And that is, let's be honest, a big and very pleasant improvement.

But to read that both the Apemining Club and Punks on Hive are both listed on State of the Dapps is very bullish. Yes, I can't find another word for it. I think it's bullish and hope you agree. And that's not all, because Marky will also approach other Dapp sites for listings. Exciting times to be on the Hive Blockchain, and be involved with Blockhead Games through the projects.

There are a few more exciting things to mention, but to find out… just read the blog I linked above. And then you will also see that there are also exciting things to expect. As usual, we will not find that out until it can be realized, or has been realized.

In any case, it would be nice if smart contracts could come to Hive. That much is clear to me. But is that a possibility?

From the Punks and Apes it's time to move on to the next tribe. And that is a tribe who has experienced an incredible first year!

LBI



LBI will be celebrating its first anniversary on the Blockchain very soon. Unbelievable, 1 year already. And at the same time, even more incredible JUST 1 YEAR LEFT!

If you look at the growth of LBI, you would rather believe that at least 2 years have already passed. More than 50% profit since project inception till now. The price of LBI started at 1 LEO, and today an LBI is worth 1.74 LEO. That's incredible growth, and I don't think there's anything to complain about.

Let's take a look at our own;

MANCAVE



The Mancave hasn't been in the news much lately. But don't worry about this because in the coming weeks there is definitely something new to expect. @raymondspeaks is working his butt off behind the scenes to manage everything and find new resources.

And of course, the dividends are flowing into all your wallets every day. So nothing to worry about, right?

So now that we clarified that again, we can move on to the next tribe;

SPLINTERLANDS



Yes, it might get a bit monotonous to see Splinterlands every week, but seriously, I can't help myself. Every week there is just news to tell.

We're all sitting here, of course, anxiously waiting, counting down the days to December 8, to open those packs. And with every card you turn over, you hope to find that one Legendary Gold Foil. As soon as that box starts to shake when you move your mouse over it, you will be happy. A Legendary card! But if you also hear the sound and see the card turn gold before your eyes. Then the party is complete! Ah, wait a few more days. Are you still holding up the tension?

But back to what there is to say now. We all have been able to see @flauwy's blog showing all new Chaos Legion cards, with all new abilities. Man, this looks like the strongest series yet! If you haven't seen it yet, go check it out!

Then SPS, hmmm yes, of course we are seeing a drop in the value of SPS right now. But will this remain so? I doubt it! Let me put it this way, I have every confidence that it will completely turn the other way again. Did you know that SPS is now also available on SushiSwap?. Hmmm, interesting! And good for new eyes on Splinterlands, and therefore on the Hive Blockchain!

Then of course from December 8th we have in addition to the Packs opening, also the second sale, AND the new VOUCHERS drop In short, exciting times in the Splinterlands. Hold on tight because we're going full speed.

So now we have had some nice news from the tribes, and you all had the chance to drink more than enough coffee while reading. And I feel it's time to get a bit of action. A bit of ENGAGEMENT.


Contests / Challenges


So you have challenged yourself a bit in some engagement. Remember, even if you don't want to participate in contests, leaving comments on other people their blogs is very appreciated engagement too! Not talking here about the comments that actualle don't relate to the blog at all, but a well-thought comment is always very much appreciated by the authors!



And now that is set straight it's time for us to move on to the part that most people like the most. Even when no one wants to admit, but everyone likes some good gossips!

  • @papacrusher is back in Hive Town, and feels that he's about to take over The Mancave discord!

Mind you, he's only at level 2 with his chatting game ...

  • @silverstackeruk takes his online business quite serious. Also putting up his Xmas tree, and some online shopping. His boss will be a little less happy with this.

  • We have many game addicts on the Blockchain. Especially since play2earn became popular. But did you know that one of those game addicts recently dropped every game except for Splinterlands? @xawi can tell you more about that!
