In the past analog means of information storage, processing and analyses was the order of the day as people would go to the newspaper stand to read up on latest news and would wait for the next day to get another edition of the newspaper, marriage certificates were written in papers and stored in large shelves, bank account details were in long invoices and sheets of papers which became a data base stored in piles for years, making it a very difficult task to call for an account statement dating back as 1 year ago, but technology has taking a different shape, tech has changed a lot of things from how we communicate to how we access information.

Information is now at our finger tip, checking the news just requires going online and you get every news you can get including the latest of all news, checking account statements can be as easy as anything now, you just tap the account statement button on your bank app and then you are good to go. Everyone now adds their information on social media, commenting on things they do not like and the double tapping on the things they love. Buying new cloths does not have to be stressful again, you just need to get an ecommerce store where it is delivered, everything else can be checked on Google or Wikipedia, It now looks like we can't do without our gadgets for 1 minute. Every physical data can be recorded online from the amount of homes in a street, every location you can see physically can be imputed into the internet.

Even retailers are now selling more than the goods and services they display but rather the data they gather from customers can also be very valuable. Vehicle licensing companies also give out this data for money.
