Was season 73 a success of failure? Season 75 will see a revamp of the ranked rewards system so season 74 will be the last season with Daily Quests. This has changed my typical season goals.

Quick Recap

My best win percentage for a full season at 65%! I'm starting to pull my lifetime percentage over 55%. I should be hitting 5,000 lifetime battles early during season 74. If I can maintain a 65% win rate the next 5,000 battles I will be at 60% when I reach 10,000 battles. It will be a tough challenge, but a good target to aim for.

The big question at the end of each season is whether it was profitable or not. With a streak since the beginning of the year of all profitable seasons the better question to ask might be how profitable as it ๐Ÿ˜€ Rentals, after subtracting out rental income, set me back 885 DEC. Taking out the DEC burn value of the rewards cards I was awarded, this drops to 630 DEC. I could use the market value of the cards to bring this total to zero, but I like looking at a worst case scenario.

Adding in the value of SPS I gained, I jump into the black 1482 DEC. Not my most profitable season, but with the awful state of the market and token values I'll take it.

Last Seasons Goals

At the end of last season I mapped out a few goals to strive for:

โœ… Purchase Soul Fiend to complete the set of Fiends

โœ… Level up another Chaos summoner โ€” General Sloan or Thaddius Brood

I am now the proud owner of a complete set of Fiends. I may need to add a Chicken to my collection some day, but for now these five Fiends get a heavy dose of play. I also pulled the trigger and went above an beyond on leveling up my summoners.

To prepare for the upcoming change in ranked rewards I wanted to make sure I moved beyond playing the starter summoners. I leveled up Sloan, Obsidian and Thaddius to level two and I now own a level two of the five rare Chaos summoners. Quix is on my wish list, but a bit out of my budget after leveling up the others.

Looking to Next Season

My goal this season is to make sure my collection is prepared for the upcoming changes to the ranked rewards. For me that means purchasing a few of the starter cards that I had ignored purchasing as I previously had other cards at the top of my list. With a share penalty on the horizon for using starter cards I have moved a few of these to the top of my wish list.

My Favorite Battle From Last Season

Win by Fatigue

|

1๏ธโƒฃ It's exhausting just watching this battle. I'm fascinated by battles that end in fatigue. This is a long watch, but it it a great lesson why a card that can deal damage beyond the tank is so important. (It always feels like a bigger accomplishment to defeat a team of all GF cards ๐Ÿ˜€)
