New Beginnings

This past week we announced and launched our newest project and idea, the CANNA Token and @Canna-Collective account services. We have been getting a lot of questions and concerns about how everything works and how it will affect the @Canna-Curate group. This project is simply an expansion of the services and fundamentals beliefs that Canna-Curate already offers.

How Is This New Account Different?

Think of @Canna-Collective as a sister account to @Canna-Curate, although a younger and perhaps hotter one 😛. You know, the kind that follows her sister around and copies everything she does- yeah that is @Canna-Collective. We are attached at the hip through the curation trail, set at 50% VP, so anything that @Canna-Curate votes on we vote on too! Pretty neat huh?

There are a few distinct differences however, as we offer a few complimentary services on top of what Canna was already doing before. For starters there is the CANNA token which powers the collective account and is always backed by at least 1 STEEM vested in the account per token in circulation. Then we offer a different system for delegations that pays out liquid STEEM rewards, rather than an up-vote like what @Canna-Curate will give in return for a delegation.

What About Canna-Curate?

Canna-Curate is still focused on curating and sharing great content in order to get authors the attention they deserve. Previous delegations to @Canna-Curate and voting provided by the service will remain unchanged with the new project- if anything you will just be making even more because of another nice up-vote tacked on. @Canna-Collective brings added layers of value and benefits to the table; we will all prosper as a result.

As part of the Canna-Curate community we believe you deserve some help and support. There are many ways for us to achieve this and we just expanded the different ways to take part. Participate in this new technological revolution happening on the Steem blockchain and we can all grow together!

How Can You Join In?

Right now there are more ways than ever to take part in the Canna-Curate community:

• You can delegate directly to the @Canna-Curate account for an up-vote, in addition you will now be getting an up-vote from from the new @Canna-Collective account
• Buy CANNA tokens to get a bigger up-vote percentage from the @Canna-Collective account
• Delegate STEEM Power to @Canna-Collective for a weekly payout in STEEM
• Follow either accounts' curation trails on Steem-auto for curation bonuses (just search for either canna-curate or canna-collective)
