Mining BFG @ Betfury Update - Febrary 2020
So I have been playing the "collect faucet, play dice game, mine BFG" game at Betfury for about 3 months and thought I'd give an update on my progress.
The Game
Before I discuss my progress, I need to explain "the strategy". It is pretty simple. Collect the free 20 minute faucet and use the faucet income to play the dice game. You will lose the faucet money, but you will mine BFG tokens. In this post I give a lot of details on how to mine BFG on your phone, laptop, or tablet if you want to learn more about how to play the game.
My Progress
So I have been hard at it for about 3 months now. I have wanted to quit several times as it seemed a waste of time at times. But I tried to remind myself that with exponential growth you don't see great returns at first but with time the returns can be amazing (just like staking HIVE).
So now some 3 months in, I am very happy to say I have mined over 2,200 BFG tokens for free using the strategy.
These tokens are now paying me a daily dividend of several cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Tron, and Bittorent. BNB is new to Betfury and that dividend is growing very quickly.
I did the math today, and it looks like I'm earning about $0.30 per day or about $100/yr in dividends.
The Long Game
At this point, I don't need the faucet anymore (although the BNB faucet is very generous) and could continue to fuel my miner just off the daily dividends. I'm looking at this as at least a 2-year growth phase before I start taking the dividend. At which point I'm hoping my dividend will be in the tens of dollars per day. Not a get rich quick scheme for sure, but a "pay my electric bill" plan? Maybe...
Addition of BNB
One of the real reasons for me deciding I should do a post on this, is that Betfury added Binance token (BNB) as one of the supported tokens. They not only added it but are featuring it. They have added a free BNB faucet that pays out 0.00002200 BNB every 20 seconds. This makes keeping your miner fueld on the faucet so much easier than when I was only get 0.00000025 BTC per collection. While I don't need the faucet, it is a very generous faucet and I will likely continue to take it as time permits.
