carbonZERO Is Now Validating For Stride - cZERO Token Drop and DAO Information

Hello everyone, we are happy to announce that we are live and active on the Stride Blockchain! Stride opts to be a leader in the liquid staking revolution and we are happy and proud to be validating for their blockchain and being apart of their growth!

$cZERO DAO Governance Token Distribution for Stride Delegators

With the launch of our validator node, we are also opening up a new opportunity to earn some $cZERO DAO governance tokens! These tokens are utility tokens in that you stake these tokens in our eco-friendly DAO built using DAODAO on the JUNO blockchain. THESE TOKENS DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE NO MONETARY VALUE AND ARE NOT TRADABLE!

Staking these tokens give you a vote and a voice in our eco-friendly DAO on how we donate funds as well as how we will use our new development fund. This fund is to be used for us to fund the development of different tools for the ecosystem. We saw a lot of opportunity in the EVMOS ecosystem alone for tools and other dapps, so we will dedicate 10% of our commissions to this purpose. Of course 20% will be going to planting trees with Ecologi!

This drop will be a direct drop to your JUNO wallet on a date that will be determined later. Because Stride is an IBC chain, we can pull up your correct addresses so we will be able to directly drop tokens as we qualify them! No difficult claim drop! We will also be doing our snapshot a bit differently than our EVMOS distribution, this time we will not be announcing the snapshot date until it occurs! Hopefully people will delegate to be apart of what we are trying to accomplish, instead of just chasing airdrops.

Token Distribution Tiers for Delegators

The ratio is shown as cZERO:BASETOKEN for each chain. For example, if you stake a minimum of 50 STRD tokens with carbonZERO, then you will receive 0.5 cZERO for every 1 STRD you have delegated to us, provided we stay in the ACTIVE SET for the blockchain. If we fall out of the set, then we will not be distributing DAO tokens! The incentive is to help keep us alive and validating blocks!

The ratio increases the higher up the levels you go.

Level 1 – 50+ = 0.5:1

Level 2- 250+ = 0.75:1

Level 3- 500+ = 1:1

Level 4- 1k = 1.5:1

Level 5- 2.5k = 2:1

Level 6- 5k = 3:1

Level 7- 10k = 4:1

Level 8- 25k+ = 5:1

Snapshot and Distribution Dates TBA for $STRD Delegators

As we stated before, we will be doing the snapshot at a later date that has yet to be announced and will not be announced until after it has been taken. The distribution of the tokens will take place 2 weeks after the snapshot, in which we will directly distribute the tokens to your JUNO address that corresponds with your Stride $STRD address.
