At carbonZERO, we are striving to be a validator that not only provides value to the the different blockchains we are running, but to also bring value back to our planet overall by putting our crypto to work for good causes.

We admit the whole airdrop thing was a bit rushed and complicated, but we are doing not as a way to just attract people looking for airdrops, but a way to build a community that does good things together! We also saw the floor drop on EVMOS and took the opportunity to try and make this all happen!

First we want to explain a bit about our mission and why we started our DAO.

Then we will discuss the cZERO token and it's purpose.

From there we will discuss the details of the Pre airdrop giveaway and the full airdrop itself followed by a couple of examples.

The carbonZERO DAO Mission

We wanted to be more than just a validator that donates. That is easy to do. What we are trying to do is build a community of like minded, environmentally friendly individuals that are interested in helping us on our mission. So together we can donate to different verifiable causes across the globe!

This page shows you our progress from our other validator nodes so far, but we have a lofty goal of planting 100K trees by the end of 2022, and we can only do that through rewards from our validator nodes. And we need delegators to get there! Hence why we are starting our DAO and soon an on-chain social community on the Hive blockchain.

We have been donating 10% of our commissions from other nodes to Ecologi, but with our EVMOS node, we are going to increase that to 20% once we get into the active set!

On top of that, we are going to be offering a 10% rebate bonus to our EVMOS delegators! Your cut is based on the amount of EVMOS you hold with us, not cZERO tokens. We will take monthly snapshots of our delegators and send the monthly rebates based on that snapshot. So staying a carbonZERO delegator has long term perks as well besides being apart of the community and helping us find charitable causes to donate to!

What is the cZERO Token

$cZERO is our DAO token that is built on JUNO using DAODAO. This is simply a governance token that gives our delegators a voice in how we donate our funds to different ecofriendly causes. cZERO token holders will also be able to use their tokens to submit proposals to the DAO for a charity of their choosing for the community to vote on with their cZERO power! That's it. It's a way to try an get people engaged and build a community around something other than our own token bags.

So for example, you have a charity in your area that is trying to protect a local river and you want the DAO to donate to that cause. Well, if you have the liquid cZERO tokens to submit your proposal, then you can submit and the DAO will vote on it! This way all of our delegators can get involved! If the proposal passes, then your charity is where the funds go for the month!

$cZERO tokens currently do not have a monetary value, they are a DAO governance token. We are not listing it on an exchange for the time being as we want to attract people that want to be involved in what we are doing and not just looking for a token to dump. If a community member wants to create a listing on an exchange, they can do so as they see fit.

$cZERO Get Us To Active Giveaway

This one is a bit tricky as we did honestly rush this one out there to try and get us a push to the active set and could have done better... But we can't go back on our word!

For the initial giveaway, we will be giving away 1000 cZERO tokens to those wallets that believed in us enough to delegate to us before we were in the active set. This is just a way to say thank you!

So we will take a snapshot of all wallets that donate a minimum of 1 $EVMOS when we hit the active set and will start to send out tokens to those that helped us get there.

EVMOS Delegator Airdrop Rules

NOTE- NO AIRDROP UNLESS WE GET INTO THE ACTIVE SET!!!

Beyond the initial 'get us to active' giveaway, we have our primary cZERO airdrop that will go out to everyone holding a minimum of 50 $EVMOS once we have been in the active set for a solid month!

Once we enter the active set, 2 things will happen. First the initial thank you giveaway snapshot, then the clock starts for the primary community airdrop.

The idea of setting a snapshot clock for the full on airdrop is to also help ensure that we can stay in the active set. If we are not in the active set, nobody earns and we cannot plant trees. If we drop out of the active set before the time period, the clock resets.

Once we reach the month time period, the snap shot of EVMOS delegators and the amounts they delegate will be taken and then the airdrop will commence shortly after that, say within a couple of days of the snapshot.

The more EVMOS delegated to our carbonZERO node, the more cZERO tokens you get.

Here are the Airdrop levels

Level #- Staked EVMOS = cZERO:EVMOS staked

Level 1 - 50+ = 0.5:1

Level 2- 250+ = 0.75:1

Level 3- 500+ = 1:1

Level 4- 1k = 1.5:1

Level 5- 2.5k = 2:1

Level 6- 5k = 3:1

Level 7- 10k = 4:1

Level 8- 25k+ = 5:1

So the more EVMOS staked, the bigger say you have in the DAO!

This will be a model that we will follow with any new chain we start up a node for, so if you miss this opportunity, there will be other chances in the future!

Some Examples...

Example 1:

You delegate 1 or more EVMOS to our node before we get to active. When we hit the active set that wallet receives 1000 cZERO tokens to use to vote in our DAO.

After we hit the active set, you add more EVMOS to your delegation to reach say, 1000 EVMOS and keep it delegated with us. Not only does this person get cZERO tokens, but they also get a cut of the 10% bonus rebate just for being a faithful delegator!

Once the airdrop snapshot takes place, you will receive 1.5 cZERO tokens for every EVMOS you have delegated. This will give you a total of 1500 tokens plus the 1000 that you got for helping get us to the active set. this gives you a total of 2500 cZERO tokens.

Example 2:

You delegate 1 or more EVMOS tokens to the pre airdrop giveaway and when we become active you get your 1000 cZERO tokens after we process that snapshot.

But after the giveaway, you redelegate to another validator before the main airdrop snapshot, you are then disqualified, but still have the 1000 cZERO tokens that you can use to still be apart of the DAO votes.
