Splinterlands Daily quest: Life Splinter

The Life Splinter is consistently the hardest Splinter for me to win battles with! I only have maybe 1 or 2 Life cards outside of the basic set so trying to pull off a win against players with stacked decks is largely a roll of the dice.
To be honest, it took me two days of giving up on the Life splinter until I discovered a nice mix of cards that started bearing fruit.

My first issue with the Life splinter is the difficult and limited choice in Tank cards. After trying and failing with the Shieldbearer I discovered that the Silvershield Knight's plus 1 melee attack is a fantastic boon when used with melee sneak cards! (Previously I had been stuck on using ranged cards but the combination of Silvershield Knight and ranged cards was not unifying into a cohesive team). The Feral Spirit card became the second base card I used throughout todays quest, its 4 speed with the 2 melee (with the silvershield knights plus 1) helped to whittle down the opponents so that my Divine Healer's slow AF 1 speed heal could try and keep my Knight alive.

Finally, whenever she fit into the mana cap, the Luminous Eagle is devastating with her 3 melee Reach damage, 3 speed PLUS her added ability to evade damage! Fantastic card, I feel guilty for forgetting about her.

I seem to be getting exclusively potions from daily quests lately, I assume its because the card packs are now sold out...? Either way, I'll keep stacking them for when the next card pack run comes around.
