Creative Coin Fund Investor Report: First WIT Payouts; APR at 28%
Welcome to the Creative Coin Fund Investor Report.
We had an incredible week to end the old year and kick off the new. Here are the highlights:

WIT Airdrop. On Saturday, the @worldbuilding team airdropped over 1.5 million Writers Tokens to 102 @cccf delegators at a 1:1 ratio to their CCC delegation.

New Delegations. Leading up to the airdrop, 39 new investors delegated to the Fund, and total delegations to the Fund increased by 363,367 CCC.

CCC Price. The market flipped: the top became the bottom, as the trading range shifted from roughly .002 - .003 to .003 - .006.

Average Price Increase. The monthly average price of Creative Coin increased for the first time since August.
That last point especially brings a smile!
Delegation Report
For the week overall, including after the airdrop on Saturday, 44 new investors joined our team, and 24 investors increased the size of their delegation. Our total delegations now stand at 1,549,952 CCC from 107 delegators.
New Payouts
As announced in last week's Investor Report, investors with at least 10,000 CCC delegated to @cccf will now receive weekly payouts in WIT, in addition to their regular CCC payout. The WIT payout is the same as your CCC delegation payout, and it is made by the WIT team (@worldbuilding).
In our delegation chart, we have marked in bold the payouts for those who receive WIT along with their CCC payout.
Investors who have delegated at least 10,000 CCC to the Fund will also receive a second Creative Coin payout for their staked WIT. This is calculated using the Fund's current APR, with staked WIT pegged to Creative Coin at a 1:1 ratio. So, if you have met the delegation requirement, and have (for example) 50,000 staked WIT, you would receive 269.231 CCC as a second payout from the Creative Coin Fund!
The staked WIT payout is reported in the third numerical column in the delegation chart.
APR at 28 Percent
The annual percentage rate for CCC delegations to the Fund is variable (see our delegation announcement post.) Each month on the first, we review the average price of Creative Coin for the preceding two months. When the average price is trending up, the percentage rate decreases by 1 percent (unless it is at the minimum rate of 21 percent), to reduce liquidity in the market when demand is rising, thereby supporting the increasing price.
The average price of Creative Coin rose 15.2 percent in December compared to November, from .00241704 to .00278538, so the rate for January has been reduced to 28 percent, beginning with this week's payout.
It is worth noting that the average price was set to increase, albeit slightly, even without the spike that followed the airdrop announcement.

Market Updates
The purpose of the Creative Coin Fund is to provide the artists of Hive with a substantial CCC upvote, and to make that vote meaningful by supporting the steadily rising price of Creative Coin.
We're supporting the price of CCC with three mechanisms:
The daily market purchase is a market order for CCC of 10 to 15 Hive daily.
- Through January 13: minimum 10 Hive
The base buy-in order is a limit order meant to establish the price support for the market. The buy-in order is updated weekly on Thursdays.
- Current Price: .002231
- Order Size: 105 Hive for 47,100 CCC
The daily limit order is a buy set daily at a price above the base buy-in order.
- Current Price: .003100
- Order Size: 15.5 Hive for 5,000 CCC
We will receive our next biweekly fiat contribution on January 13. Until then, we have 35 Hive to add to or replace our current buy-in order when we review the market this Thursday, and 100 Hive to fund the daily market purchase from the sell wall.
Our goal with the buy-in order this Thursday, as always, is to raise our price and increase the order size. We also aim to place the order at a price that will likely stand for the week, to provide a solid support for the market.
We continue to fund the daily limit order through the sale of our liquid CCC earnings and H-E token drips and earnings. We cap the daily limit order at 5,000 CCC and place it above the highest limit order on the market when we've built up enough Hive to do so.
