I am happy that I'm partaking in the #21 contest before it expires. Fortunately for me, I've joined the contest this time although I'm new here. All thanks to @evegrace who invited me here.

Here is my entry to the #ladiesofhive #21 contest and I'm happy to partake in the contest. I want to answer the questions that says How did you come to find and join the Hive blogging platform? And how did it benefit you?

My story I was introduced to the Hive block chain by @uyobong early this year in the month of February. He also helped me create my account and updated all that was needed, also taught me how to arrange my write-ups and ever to help me start the block chain. To be very sincere with you guys, I was ready and over ready. I just wanted to do something legally that'll bring income to me because I felt I reached the stage of helping my mom in some things. I always feel bad when I see her lament and cry that she's all alone in this world with no father, no mother, no siblings and the husband who would have stayed, died and left her alone and nobody to help her. There were times I do feel bad and got depressed that I had a lot of bad things in mind to do just to help my mom in some things. I thought of starting a job, but I was the only one helping my mom out in her restaurant business and I am also a student, so my schedule was very tight to fit in a job. I thought of many bad things like prostituting, lesbianism and even doing rituals but I always had a second thought of the punishments these things bring and I shunned them. So, I started blogging on Hive, although I'm new here, I think I'm coping and I'm happy because I know I'll definitely make my mom happy.

How did it benefit me?

Helping me know I'm not a bad writer: I started writing in my secondary School days and I literally get inspired by the things that happen around me and my society at large. Before I joined Hive block chain, I wrote a lot of stories but I always felt it's not worth reading by anyone or published anywhere but when I joined Hive block chain, I realized my stories are along the best if not the best. I found out the communities I fit in, even if I'm not really creative in other aspects but I'm so happy I found a writing community and it makes me proud of my writings.

Friendship: With the little time I've been on Hive block chain, I've met some people who are friendly and always willing to help out so long as you ask questions and get along too. I've not really met people, but with the few ones I've met, I'm happy to be on Hive block chain.

Happiness:Since I started Hive, I've been happy because I'll definitely help my mom out financially and make her happy and not lonely, I'll take care of myself and my little brother who's looking up on me. I'm also planning to get a laptop with my Hive soon.

Thanks for reading through my blog and to participate in this wonderful contest, I invite @zellypearl and here is the link
