I'm spending more and more time in Splinterlands and the more I do, the worse I get at playing.

I'm not thrilled to hear of the possible nerfing of Bronze & Silver SPS rewards but I understand it. Gameplay is hard enough for me and my incentives to play are now worse.

Botting has been a joy so far but I only do it in Bronze with one account as a tutorial for manual gaming. I am learning in small doses and realize the game is hard.

I have a growing interest in buying cards and have purchased a lot of them to build my bronze deck. Having said that, I'm feeling like it would be better for me to rent out my cards as opposed to playing them because I can't play well.

I recently read a post comparing Sabre Shark and Pelacor Bandit but I can no longer find the post in my feed to credit it but it was great.

I have 3 Sabre Shark alpha cards and I don't play them nor does anyone really rent them. It seems that selling them would be wise except for the fact that they are Alpha cards and the game is always changing so who knows if Sabre Shark has a future.

The idea put forth in that post was that both cards are relatively equal within the game but the cost are substantially different. So the wise person would build using the Pelacor Bandit.

My favorite action seems to be inaction so I'm at a crossroads. Do I sell 1,2 or 3 of my Sabre Sharks and buy something more usable and more rentable?

That's really my question. The emotional attachment to vintage cards is probably a really bad thing. The Sabre Sharks sit in my account doing nothing but providing me with 30 collection power each. I could sell them and buy a modern card with more collection power and more appeal on the rental market.

My question to you is what would that be? Especially if I wanted to buy something solely to rent out. Is there a card in the $5 range that is a good investment that commands high rental? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Oh yeah, I could do the same thing with my Alpha Alrec but that seems scarier than a Sabre Shark lol
