I'm glad you brought this up. I created a curation account for manual curation and I even posted and asked the community how I should use it. I didn't even realize someone could automatically follow your vote. If I figure out how to do that I will. You are the most supportive of the rank and file here and I want to curate to encourage authors. That's the only way to grow the community. Even though my vote is currently only worth .2 leo I feel like it helps encourage people.
