The Number Of Dog Meme Coins Is Getting Ridiculous

I was on CoinMarketCap and the biggest gainers section caught my eye because there was another dog coin on that list. So I decided to just search the list and see how many there are. Just look at some of them:

There are about 100 Doge variety coins, 51 Shiba variety coins and around 20 Floki type coins.

That's 171 dog meme coins out there and why are there so many? They're easy to create and I think a big part are pump and dump scams on Twitter / Telegram as well trying to con gullible money that their joke coin of a joke coin is the real deal.

Buying them is really like buying a lottery ticket. Some of them will probably moon but the vast majority are going to end up as duds.

If you are looking to gamble some money, then I would advise to check out the community around them. Some are a little more active than others which gives at least a glimmer of hope. Hopefully this trend dies out soon but I doubt it.
