The SPS->DEC conversion is still negligible
SPS was introduced to be a governance token, through which it is possible to vote on the various proposals and therefore be active in the evolution of the game. However, the team also wants SPS to have other uses in order to add further value to the coin, exploiting the idea of the DEC pegged to the value of $0.001, thus introducing the conversion of SPS into DEC, obviously at the current market value. All converted SPS are burned and then eliminated from the total supply.
Currently, however, the SPS burned by the conversion are just over 1 million, probably the bear market and the value of the token now below $0.04 does not encourage players much, perhaps waiting for better times. An SPS worth $1, for example, will generate a whopping 1000 DEC. At these levels, certainly players like me would be more stimulated to convert their tokens.
The market today therefore does not generate stimuli and the working capital of SPS continues to increase, without particular interest on the part of investors. What solution to move the situation a bit? Providing more in-game utility is certainly the biggest incentive. Starting from the Riftwatchers edition, the packs can only be purchased in SPS, in LAND and also in Tower Defense, the token will be necessary to obtain greater and exclusive prizes.

The @splinterlands contests are not only meant to get us generous upvotes but above all to help us discover new cards that can be very useful in our battles and stimulate us to new strategies and more options in battle.
The low card prices, also caused by the large number of prints and availability of Chaos Legion cards, are a great entry point for new players. In fact, it is possible to build an excellent deck of cards by spending little, compared to the cards of previous editions. It will also be interesting to observe the upcoming airdrops of CL cards in order to better determine which Summoner to upgrade and consequently which cards to buy on the market!
Furthermore, the strategy that each player sets himself can undergo natural variations, in order to improve his deck of cards and climb the ranking of the best players, also obtaining higher rewards!

Il team però vuole anche che SPS abbia altre utilità al fine di aggiungere ulteriore valore alla moneta, sfruttando l'idea del DEC ancorato al valore di 0,001$, introducendo quindi il la conversione di SPS in DEC, ovviamente al valore di mercato corrente. Tutti gli SPS convertiti sono bruciati e quindi eliminati dalla supply totale.
Attualmente però sono poco più di 1 milioni gli SPS bruciati dalla conversione, probabilmente il bear market ed il valore del token ormai sotto i 0,04$ non incentiva molto i giocatori, aspettando forse tempi migliori. Un SPS al valore di 1$, ad esempio, genererà ben 1000 DEC. A questi livelli, di certo i giocatori come me sarebbero maggiormente stimolati alla conversione dei propri token.
Il mercato oggi quindi non genera stimoli ed il circolante di SPS continua ad aumentare, senza particolari interessi da parte degli investitori. Quale soluzione per smuovere un po' la situazione? Fornire maggiore utilità all'interno dei giochi è certamente l'incentivo maggiore. A partire dall'edizione Riftwatchers i pacchi sono acquistabili solo in SPS, in LAND ed anche in Tower Defense il token sarà necessario per ottenere premi maggiori ed esclusivi.

L'annuncio del dimezzamento del team di Splinterlands. Ma è nel mercato bearish che si costruisce la ricchezza per la prossima bullrun, intanto accumulo token SPS e costruisco il mio asset stabile per il futuro dell'economia di Splinterlands!
Conclusione
I contest di @splinterlands non hanno solo lo scopo di farci ottenere generosi upvotes ma sono soprattutto di aiutarci a scoprire nuove carte che possono essere davvero molto utili nelle nostre battaglie e stimolarci a nuove strategie e più opzioni in battaglia.
I prezzi bassi delle carte, causati anche dal gran numero di stampe e disponibilità delle carte di Chaos Legion, sono un ottimo punto di ingresso per i nuovi giocatori. Infatti è possibile costruire un ottimo mazzo di carte spendendo poco, rispetto alle carte delle precedenti edizioni. Sarà anche interessante osservare i prossimi airdrops delle carte CL in modo da determinare meglio quale Evocatore potenziare e di conseguenza le carte da acquistare sul mercato!
Inoltre, la strategia che ogni giocatore si imposta, può subire variazioni naturali, in modo da migliorare il proprio mazzo di carte e scalare la classifica dei migliori giocatori, ottenendo anche ricompense più elevate!
