It is a good question that @themarkymark wrote in his post and whose answer is simple: users. The success of a project depends on the quality of the product and above all on the number of users that the community manages to attract to itself. And how can we attract more people to HIVE? Marketing.


Think Different

You may remember a spot launched by Steve Jobs to advertise Apple in the late 90s entitled Think Different. The spot showed some big names like Gandhi and Martin Luther King, through Einstein and John Lennon, telling about their genius, how they changed the world and how this happened because they thought "out of the box". At the end of the commercial, a black screen appeared with the words "Think Different": Apple therefore encouraged us to get out of the known canons, to take unexplored roads just as all the personalities of the video had done and as the Cupertino company has always done. . Thanks to this commercial, the company's values ​​have become stronger than ever.

The community is really great and we see new projects growing daily, full of enthusiasm and new ideas, investing time and money to try to achieve new goals.

To increase the reputation of our brand we need to increase the number of users but above all find a way to push the name of HIVE far beyond its current limits. I think for example that we should launch a strong product, in which the community can identify and can make users out there understand what HIVE is. To date we can say that we practically carry out any activity such as DeFi, NFT, Dapps, Blog, Smart Contracts and much more. But do we have a product that people can recognize as a cutting edge?

The developer team is certainly working to make the blockchain more stable and secure and the HF 25 will be launched within 6 weeks, ruling out bugs during the testnet. I believe that we should start thinking about a unique product for our blockchain, for example by exploiting free transactions and improving scalability in order to avoid future congestion. Hive can be used as a payment method without any kind of commission and would be interesting as a DeFi platform, although we would lag behind the others.

It would be helpful to advertise some influential person in the crypto sector who can push our ecosystem far beyond known limits and encompass a larger slice, for example, of retail users, looking for a serious project to invest in.

We Hive users know what Hive is but we must somehow try to break through new investors. The #posh campaign to promote Hive on Twitter or other social networks is fine but we often present ourselves as a decentralized blog in which to promote good content. So we have to decide what we want to be in the eyes of others and work towards this goal, also looking for some partnership if possible. We have a development fund but we also use a portion to promote ourselves on other platforms or forge serious partnerships, or pay someone to write about Hive on crypto magazines.
