What is Hive for me? Some thoughts on Power Down
Hive is an incredible ecosystem, it's like a sturdy tree from which branches branch out in different directions (projects), branches full of verdant leaves (users) who are the producers of the sap that gives life to the whole community. There is no day when I am not excited about the announcement of some new project or the publication of some sensational post. It's nice to see how many amateur authors have now become professionals, with incredible posts and illustrations.
I still am amazed at how much energy and creativity our community unleashes. I have participated in several projects and attended many communities but I have never seen a group as strong as ours. By now Hive is a family, in which everyone works and contributes in their own way: there are those who create projects, those who create works of art, those who write excellent content and those who reward them. This is a perfect model of ecosystem in which everyone contributes differently to the well-being and solidity of their family.
Power Down
It is absolutely legitimate to manage your rewards in the most appropriate and personal way, but here I want to express my free opinion. Many of us have bought our Hive Power by dedicating a lot of time to writing posts, for years, getting rewards that until recently were worth much less but today the pace has really changed.
Since we can decide to receive rewards at 100 HP or 50% HP and 50% HBD (or HIVE when there are suitable market conditions), my personal belief is that at least the HP part should not be touched or traded. It is a small but fair form of recognition to the project that has rewarded a work that in any other crypto project would not have obtained the right reward.
When someone tells me: why don't you pick up your Hives with the Power Down?
The answer is simple: I believe in Hive and I am grateful to Hive. At the moment, even though my HP is high enough to guarantee me a nice profit, I have no intention of withdrawing my HIVEs. In fact, I am more and more willing to accumulate HP, which is why I have also withdrawn the proxies and get more HP with the curation.
Right wrong? Points of view.
Goals
Accumulating HP has become increasingly difficult, the present value of HIVE allows for higher HBD gains but less HP. Becoming an orca is a long road, 50k is still a difficult goal and requires more and more consistency and more and more grandiose content. But challenges and goals don't scare me, I will continue to increase my Hive PowerUp. There are also many incentives following the airdrops confirmed by the Spknetwork projects and the new NFT PVP game by @theycallmedan.

Hive è un ecosistema incredibile, è come un robusto albero da cui si diramano rami in diverse direzioni (progetti), rami pieno di foglie verdeggiante (utenti) che sono i produttori della linfa che dà vita all'intera comunitá. Non c'è giorno in cui non sia emozionato per l'annuncio di qualche nuovo progetto o per la pubblicazione di qualche sensazionale post. E' bello vedere come molti autori amatoriali siano ormai diventati dei professionisti, con post e illustrazioni incredibili.
Continuo ancora a sorprendermi di quanta energia e creatività la nostra comunità sprigiona. Ho partecipato a diversi progetti e frequentato molte comunità ma non ho mai visto un gruppo così forte come il nostro. Ormai Hive è una famiglia, in cui ognuno lavora e contribuisce a proprio modo: c'è chi crea progetti, chi crea opere d'arte, chi scrive contenuti eccellenti e chi li ricompensa. Questo è un modello perfetto di ecosistema in cui tutti contribuiscono in modo differente al benessere ed alla solidità della propria famiglia.
Power Down
E' assolutamente lecito gestire le proprie rewards nel modo più opportuno e personale, ma qui voglio esprimere la mia libera opinione. Molti di noi hanno acquistato il proprio Hive Power dedicando moltissimo tempo alla stesura dei post, per anni, ottenendo delle rewards che fino a poco tempo fa valevano molto meno ma oggi il ritmo è davvero cambiato.
Poichè possiamo decidere di ricevere ricompense al 100 HP o 50% HP e 50% HBD (o HIVE quando vi sono le condizioni di mercato idonee), la mia personale convinzione è che almeno la parte HP non debba essere toccata o scambiata. E' una piccola ma giusta forma di riconoscimento al progetto che ha premiato un lavoro che in qualsiasi altro progetto crypto non avrebbe ottenuto il giusto ricompenso.
Quando qualcuno mi dice: perchè non ritiri i tuoi Hive con il Power Down?
La risposta è semplice: io credo in Hive e ad Hive sono riconoscente. Al momento, seppure il mio HP è tale da garantirmi un bel profitto, non ho alcuna intenzione di ritirare i miei HIVE. Anzi, sono sempre più invogliato ad accumulare HP, motivo per cui ho anche ritirato le deleghe e ottenere maggiore HP con la curation.
Giusto, sbagliato? Punti di vista.
Obiettivi
Accumulare HP è diventato sempre più difficile, il valore attuale di HIVE consente un maggiore guadagni di HBD ma meno HP. Diventare orca è una strada lunga, 50k sono ancora un obiettivo difficile e richiede sempre più costanza e contenuti sempre più grandiosi. Ma le sfide e gli obiettivi non mi spaventano, io continuerò ad incrementare il mio Hive PowerUp. Gli incentivi sono anche tanti a seguito degli airdrop confermato dai progetti Spknetwork e il nuovo NFT PVP game di @theycallmedan.
