This is one of the rare times I feel like I can understand the purpose of a blockchain. Most of the time the use cases feel too theoretical, or I fail to understand the utility.
Having a product that can actually be used, give really good results when I actually use the product, and I can get paid to do so makes so much sense to me.
Value Proposition - Privacy -
I feel this will only become more important in the future. Give how much cancel culture has grown, deplatforming or censoredship is a bigger and bigger risk. Not having a history search you perform is good step to protecting yourself.
Earn PRE for each search performed.
As an incentive for you to switch and use the search engine, they will pay you .13 PRE for each search, up to 4 PRE tokens a day. While it is not a lot of daily PRE tokens, if I had 2-3 tokens for every days worth of searching I have done over the past 5-10 years, I would have a TON of tokens.
Tokens have other uses once they are earned, you are able to STAKE your tokes, that give you a chance to be in an ad rotation. They also appear to have a marketplace This feels much like the BAT Token, gives users a chance to earn the token or spend it.
Products where you are the product.
I think people are starting to wake up to the fact that when products/platforms are offered for free, Facebook, Youtube, Google Search- they are the product. These platforms are only making money because they get enough traffic and profit off ad revenue. Getting alternative platforms that both protect you, and give you share of the revenue will most likely grow in the future. I think PreSearch is a great addition to platforms like the Brave Browser with BAT, and Odysee with LBRY. As support and use of these platforms grows, I think they could pose a massive shift in the ecosystems and give an opportunity to move the power back to the creators, and users.

PRE token Price
You can see when it was first listed with the rest of the ICO boom, it was pretty high. While its been really depressed over the past few years while in development, it has taken off with the search engine going live January 28th 2021. There seems to be a lot of interest and excitement with the project.
While earning a max of 4 tokens a day at $.10 each won't make you rich, it will really ad up given it is something you are already doing. Combine this with getting BAT tokens and you can get $5-10 a month that would never have been yours. While this may not excite you in the world of 3000% of defi, this has basically no risk!
Conclusion.
I have changed my default search to be Presearch, and have earned a massive 3.5 PRE in the past 3 days. My search results are good enough to not really notice, I am still getting the answers I need. I intend to keep using the search engine and earning a few fraction PRE each search.
