Yesterday the twitter - Musk ballet of bull has apparently kicked into overdrive with the boy genius announcing he is pulling out of the deal because he doesn't want to make the board members pregnant of something. A word of caution to those who are devoted members of the Church of Musk - I'm allergic to professional manipulators and experts deflectors of criticism and I'm not afraid to point that behavior out.

What is this is whole twitter drama about ? in short it has a lot of utility for Musky boy as a smoke screen, so that he can hide his dirty laundry while the narrative is dominated by this whole debacle. For example: have you ever heard of the solar city trial? probably not, because the media just regurgitates what they are being fed by people who are expert manipulators. The reasons he has stated for backing out of the deal is laughable at best, it's like signing a contract to buy a house and than complaining about the fact it has rats. You should have looking into that before signing the contract like a buffoon.

Besides avoiding the bad press associated with the solar city bailout by tesla which is a topic in of itself, Musky boy managed to score a few other wins behind the twitter buyout smoke screen. He managed to sell tesla stocks at the top without being called out for it because he was allegedly securing funding for to buy the blue bird thingy. He also got a lot of exposure and free press for being an advocate of free speech when nothing could be further for the truth.

Just look at all the tesla and spacex employee scandals, union busting and all sorts of work place abuse. He only likes freedom of speech when it suits him, the few who dare disagree with his God complex are either fired or if they are not working for him are made fun of on twitter. This video goes way more into detail on how many lies this guys gets away with on a regular basis.

But let's say you don't believe all the bad things people are saying because in your eyes he's a tech Jesus. Let's take a few objective examples: the tesla electric semitruck: he said in 2017 production would start next year, 5 years later you still can't buy it. Same with the second generation tesla roadster. Another example of vaporware is the hyper-dumb hyperloop, 10 years after it was hyped up and there is still not a single track and pod that actually takes people from point A to point B. That track in the middle of the desert is as useful as tits on a fish.

I know the fanboys will defend their lord and savior by saying he always states his aspiration goals and that he's an incurable optimist. But that's not how the real world works. Just imagine going to work where you promise to finish a project within a week but 5 weeks later you are still working on it, so when your boss calls you out you say that you're changing the world and that the one week time frame was just aspirational. I'm curious how that sort of bs would fly. I think it's safe to assume most people would get fired trying to weasel their way out of being held responsible in that manner.

I've never been a fan of the phrase "fake it till you make it" but it seems a remarkably effective strategy if you're a bit of sociopath and want to get filthy rich. Personally, I prefer being a silly old clown collecting magic internet money rather than lying and manipulating my way to the top.
