Binance is evolving a lot and the new section which I usually check is Binance Earn, which is nothing but getting good APY for your locked crypto. They say that we should not just HODL the crypto, we should grow it either by keeping it in savings or in locked staking. But just look at the rewards for the stable coins, it is around 6% when we deposit it for 30 days whereas it's 9% when it is deposited for 60 days.

PC: Binance.com

We all know that HBD is Hive Backed Dollar and it is one of the stable coins and if we keep it in the savings we get around 10% interest on a monthly basis and there are no deposit days as such like we can deposit it for 15 days and even the whole year and we will get the same rate of interest always. I think it's good to keep your extra HBD in the savings to get 10% interest. I have started accumulating some HBD and started saving it to get that 10% interest. Also I think it's more safe to keep the funds in Hive wallet than some centralized exchange.

Though we know that HBD value is not 100% pegged to the dollar and its value does go up and down I think that is part and parcel of getting good returns. And I have never seen HBD value going down drastically. If it goes up then it's actually good for us to sell the profit and buy Hive and stake it.

This is just for the sake of having some extra income at the end of the month which should be around 5-10% of your whole crypto value. It's because 10% interest with 7% inflation will be only 3% which is not enough for wealth creation. For wealth creation we have Hive and for securing that wealth we have HBD and thus we do not have to go anywhere else. Though along with these two investments we should diversify our investment a little looking at other coins too. But the main point is if we have to get guaranteed returns without any risk then savings HBD is the best thing to do.

In my case, I have been moving some of my HBD to the savings and getting that good 10% interest. My plan is to accumulate more and get to that point where I can say that I am getting good passive income from HBD alone.
