Hive Celebrates World Water Day with the Successful Launch of the Sixth Borehole in Ghana

Today marks a momentous occasion in global history, as we focus on the importance of water and sanitation. It's important that we take the necessary steps to raise the awareness and tackle the global water crisis that is affecting many regions worldwide. In this regard, Hive ecosystem has achieved a remarkable feat by contributing significantly to the fight against this crisis.

As the world celebrates World Water Day, this event was a timely reminder of the significance of water and the role that technology can play in addressing real-world issues. Hive's commitment to using crypto to solve real-world problems has won the hearts of many in Agona-Asaman, who expressed their desire to join the Hive community. This event was a shining example of how technology can be used to improve lives and create a better future for all.


The Hive project launch event continued with short remarks from the assemblyman and area committee chairman. They highlighted the importance of valuing water and how Hive's assistance in providing the borehole was a significant step in solving the water challenges faced by the community. They urged everyone present to take good care of the facility to ensure its longevity.

The Queen mother of the town also addressed the audience, recounting the water challenges that the community had faced in the past and expressing gratitude to Hive for coming to their aid. The event culminated with the Hive team, the Queen mother, assemblyman, and other leaders cutting the ribbon to make the borehole system accessible to the community.

It was a beautiful sight as everyone took turns to drink the water. This marked the beginning of the borehole's use, and the community would now have access to potable water. This event was a significant step towards improving the lives of the residents of Agona-Asaman, and it showcased the importance of community-driven initiatives in solving real-world problems.
