A new NFT, a Power Up Day and a lingering head cold.
The 1st of the month snuck up on me. Something to do with having a head cold that just doesn't want to end.
I think it likes me.
I think it wants to hang out longer.
I think it knows I'm planning to fly interstate and wants to come on a holiday with me.
I'd prefer it didn't.
I'd like to visit my family without bringing the achy legs of day 1, the snotty head of days two 'til now, the heavy lungs of day 2-5 and the dry cough that showed up the night before last.
I don't have Covid-19. I'm glad. That virus can keep doing circles around me like as much as it likes and I'm going to keep drinking green smoothies every day, even through winter. See how you like those green veggies dear Covid One π
Will it work? Who knows. It seems to have worked so far. But then I did get this flu-turned-head-cold-turned-snotfest thing, so maybe I need a little more than green veg to keep these nasties at bay. Perhaps a little more rest and a little less stress?
That should do it.
Meanwhile, I'm sure this was supposed to be a Hive Power Up Day post. Fingers, what are you doing? Get with the program!

Okay, that's enough celebrating. My head hurts with all that noise. Back to the money. I mean cash. I mean HIVE.
I made some HIVE this month. Yay!!!! πππ

I've kept my 50/50 split going since Day 1 (thanks @new.things for setting up my account this way π) which means the 76.680 HIVE I had sitting in liquid form in my wallet just 30 minutes ago must, in theory, have had a similar amount of HIVE sitting Hive Power.
I could go check my screenshots from last month but I'm too lazy, or is that the sickness talking? Hmmm, maybe a bit of both. Either way, I have Liquid Hive and more Hive Power than this time last month and I'm a happy lady. Well, as happy as a lady can be when she still has a head full of snot that refuses to leave despite being evicted (numerous times).
This month I finally let myself buy an NFT For Peace for Ukraine.

So where was I?
Oh yes, I have an NFT that's for something useful not just pretty (although it is pretty too!). With that bought I was left with 60.000 HIVE to transfer out to pay down some awesome loans from awesome people who helped to study awesome things. (Can you tell I'm trying to make myself feel better about these stupid freakin', outlandishly large debts???)
And with those decisions made I deliberately powered up the not-so-round number of 11.680 HIVE to qualify for this month's fun and games.

Okay, okay. That's enough excitement.
Yes, my reputation is increasing. Yes, my HP is increasing. Yes, my network of awesome humans I know through Hive is increasing. (The latter is probably the one of these measures that makes me the happiest, to be honest).
In case I feel oodles better by the time I come back to check on this post, will you share with me your celebrations, wins, proudest moments for this month as they relate to Hive? I'd love to know. Or at least, the healthy, joyful Caroline would love to know. The sick Caroline is leaving the blockchain now to go make a(nother) cup of hot lemon and honey.
